Their service is poor and the people who come to open a pool or work on it are often rude. Some people in the office are nice and helpful. They replaced a pump and it broke down the same season and they refused to fix it. I am not sure why there wasn't a warranty, but we were supposed to pay for fixing it. They are very expensive and their work is not great. more

I previously lived in this area and used this company... best in the area. I really appreciated the services provided by this team. They are there when you need them. The staff is friendly and happily provides additional education/ knowledge when needed. Thank you for the attention to detail! more

I have been using GVPS for a number of years. Lately the service has declined tremendously. This past summer the workers damaged my equipment and the coping and charged me for an expensive improper repair. Andy, at "customer service" was rude and did not even apologize for the damage. I am very disappointed and will not use them again. more

WOW! I have been using Great Valley for four years because they came highly recommended. I really tried to work with them but have experienced problem after problem and possibly the worst customer service of any vendor I have used. Its a shame because the workers are generally really nice. They just don't know what they are doing, have cause repeated damage to my equipment and then wanted me to pay for the repairs. I think I was finally able to work it out after holding back payment for a while. I will never use them again. BUYER BEWARE!!! more

Ive been using great valley pool service for about fifteen years.I have had very few complaints.Their service is five stars compared to other pool companies in the surounding counties.I have used other pool companies to see if they were cheaper and better service.Big mistake!Horrible service and a lack of respect for my property.Great valley had to come and fix what other companies had screwed up.Great valley pool service is a company and they will charge you for their services as it should be.If you think your going to get service for nothing you should be doing it yourself or should have thought about it before you had a pool.Pools are very expensive to have and that is a fact.Now that the economy is going bad I bet I will see more complaints because everybody wants something for nothing and there are going to complaints about the service to get a discounts off there bill all in all if you want the job done right the first time call GREAT VALLEY POOL SERVICE--for five star service Pros: great respectfull techs,theyll make your pool shine Cons: they are a very busy company because of their great service,call weeks in advance more

They overcharge for the work completed. They are not upfront about prices when price quote is requested before work is initiated. They are not willing to work with customer to reach a compromise. Pros: Pool Technicians are knowledgeable and helpful Cons: Office staff is not straight forward about pricing more
