Excellent customer service and selection 10/8/2007

My husband is an avid comic book reader and started going to The Great Escape over 5 years ago. We have always received awesome service from both Mark and all of his employees. The store has a huge selection of comic books, collectible cards, action figures, and statues. All of the comic books are organized by title...but if there is something you can't find, just ask...the staff will help you find what you need. more

Great service and great sales 12/30/2006

Mark's is open (as of right now) 7 days a week, 11-7 most days, longer on Fridays, and is open Sat-Sun also. The customer service at Mark's goes above and beyond what I've seen at other comic book stores - he and many of his staff (we go there frequently and have dealt with most, if not all, of his staff) are willing to go the extra mile to find what we're looking for, even if it doesn't fall into the realm of things that he normally carries. Mark himself is very knowledgeable about all things comic-related. Pros: Great sales, customer service Cons: N/A more

these guys have a lot of comics stacked everywhere in boxes. When I visited them I had to step over pizza boxes on the floor! They have a very limited selection of games and gaming supplies. Their store hours are very short - 3 - 4 hours per day -and their staff really didn't seem like they wanted to be very helpful. they pointed to a table when I asked about a particular title and said if we have any it's over there somewhere. Unless i can't find it anywhere else, I'd stay away from this place. Pros: Lots of comics, not much else Cons: dirty, poor customer service, limited hours more
