Luggage repair needed and they delivered! 2/3/2011

My dad always said if you need something done right, find a Mom & Pop store. The Atlantic Luggage repair site, sent me here and I couldn't be more pleased. While my carry-on bag is 10 years old, except for the need of new wheels, it's in great shape. I left it knowing it might take time to find the parts - up to 10 days, but 2 days after I dropped it off, I received a phone call that my luggage had new wheels. I picked it up today and had a lovely conversation with the owners. This is good workmanship with a small town atmosphere that is so often missing today. Thank you, Thank you. As I rolled my ""new"" suitcase down the dock here in Sausalito, I was asked where I was coming from. I told them, I was just getting it back from repairs. It's a long trek for me, but I won't hesitate to return should something else need repair. Highly recommended more

best repair svc 1/26/2011

I love the little shops that remain in place when other businesses move on. The husband & wife,the mom & pop places that you know will be able to help you out. Aida is a doll,very helpful & courteous. I brought a LV knockoff bag into her to have new handles put on,the workmanship is awesome. I highly recommend them to everyone. more

Great Service at a Great price 6/24/2010

I had two pieces of TravelPro luggage that were about 12 years old, a couple of items had broken off and I had a wheel that had become lopsided. I took both pieces in for repair to Grand Shoe based on the reviews I had read. I met both Grigor and his wife Aida. I had a great time talking with them and felt very comfortable leaving my luggage with them. They told me it would be about a week, I received a call from Grigor within 5 days that my luggage was ready. He fixed everything plus a couple of other items he found, he charged an extremely reasonable rate for all the things he did. I am very satisfied with the job he did and the price I paid, I will definitely go back. Must experience this unique merchant. Awesome shoe & clothing alteration service. 3/3/2008

I have been going their for almost 20 years for all my shoe and clothing alterations. Personal, unique, and value added service always. Not too many small business' like this left. If you want to experience a Mom and Pop classis business, on not just shoes or alterations, but also luggage repair this is a shop to visit. They have Corky items on sale also. Items that you won't see in Walmart, that's for sure. Anyway, if you want to build a business relationship with a local repair shop, this is it. By the way, they make keys also. You go in their, you'll be amazed with all the services they offer. You won't regret it. Pros: long term merchant of South City (30 years). Many services offered. Cons: They close early on Saturdays. more
