Wish I had sued them 11/16/2011

I went to Grace for routine OB care mostly because they had a good reputation and they list themselves as a Christian doctors office. Wish I had never set foot in the place. Since it was my first pregnancy I had lots of questions to start off. They had a terrible time establishing my due date and initially thought I had a tubal pregnancy. After that got straightened out I think they decided that I was just an overly anxious patient who freaked out about nothing so at about 18-20 weeks when I did develop complications they completely ignored it. Gained 20 pounds in about a week and they told me not to eat so many goodies. My blood pressure was up a little and Dr Cobb said not to worry that I was having a healthy pregnancy. I told one of the other doctors I didn't feel good about a week before that and that several of my co-workers were telling me I looked swollen but they told me it was just new pregnancy changes and I would adjust. By the time somebody finally listened to me my BP wa more

The Best Obgyn Office Around 2/27/2011

I havve been going to Grace Obgyn for almost 6 years. I have tried another Obgyn office when I first moved to Asheville north Carolina and had the worst experience with them. I loved my old Obgyn from where I moved from and wanted to fine someone similar. Welli was recommended to them and made an appointment and fell in love. I have seen all the doctors and the midwife there and I would trust them with my life. Dr Cobb delivered my boy and Dr Jackson delivered my girl. They are the most caring and honest and best doctors I have ever met. I felt the most comfortable. With them and thought I would never find that after I moved from the Obgyn that delivered my first son. Well I did and I have to say have grown more.attached with Grace Obgyn. They are like family. I could go on and on with the most positive things to say but I will stop. I would highly highly highly recommend them to anyone looking for doctors who are as wonderful as they are. And the staff is super friendly. more

Suggest to anyone 10/13/2010

Having been a patient of Grace for almost 15 years, delivering 3 children with them (one high-risk), having a tubal-ligation and working as a contract worker for them for several years before I had to stop due to health problems. I rate Grace the most caring, wonderful, and spiritual doctors I have ever met. I have traveled and worked across many of WNC's ob-gyn offices and I know from experience that Grace is one of the best. They are a Christian based practice that cares and always goes the extra mile for all patients. more

Extremely Happy! Thank you Grace OBGYN !!!! 8/1/2010

I am a Native to Buncombe County. I had been seeing another OBGYN in Asheville where I was advised a pap smear had come back bad and would need to be sent to Raleigh for additional diagnosis. When it came back as cancer cells I was obviously scared out of my mind. Two years and three Leap procedures later that same doctor recommended yet another painful Leap procedure as the cancer cells were no longer on the outside of my cervix but actually going into the opening of my cervix. At this point I asked if I could not just simply have my cervix removed. I pointed out that I was DEFINATLY finished having children, suffered with Severe Manic Deprssion/Bipolar disorder which had gone hay wire throughout the past two years from stressing with this diagnosis, and that I also had cystic ovaries and suffered from pain with those and had been told I most likely would never be able to concieve again. The doctor refused to give ma a hyserectomy because of my age 28 years old. I went to see more

Best thing they did was send my records elsewhere! 5/10/2010

I was a patient there for about 10 months. They said there was need for emergency testing based on a pap, and so I was very worried! After numerous calls on my part attempting to get an appointment, they said I had missed the appointment they had decided for me. (I was never notified.) Consequently, there were no appointments available. They decided the testing was not so urgent, and said I could just hold off for another month. I complied but meanwhile decided to look for another place that wouldn't put my health on hold. It sounds crazy, but then G. OBGYN proceeded to call me 4 more times with mis-information about appointment dates. It was as if four different nurses each thought I was a different person. Each time they admitted to a mistake, I grew more and more wary. It hurt my feelings that a what was serious health-priority for me was just another obstacle between them and their next lunch break. I almost thought it was a practical joke. I switched to another OBGYN that would s more

Very caring 3/2/2010

Dr. Cobb delivered my fist son and I must say he was wonderful. Even when our baby was in a little distress he kept my family and I calm and managed to fix the situation. He spent lots of time with me and as a result I had a happy healthy baby naturally. more
