Gorilla Trucking LLC

I am the owner of Gorilla Trucking and I do remember a couple of people that have placed a negative comment. Some people just don't realize the problems that come with the trucking business nor do people want to accept what they don't want to hear: that I have to reschedule or that I can't get you ANOTHER load that wasn't originally on my schedule. I do have a schedule to keep to and I do everything I can to keep to that schedule. I've been in business for several years and have plenty of contracts and have hundreds of happy customers. It seems as if people only comment about the negative, not the positive - if all of my happy customers were to list their positive experience with my company, these negative comments would be far washed-out. I placed an ad on KSL to fill-in my time between my contractors and some of the homeowners that call are very rude and are not at all understanding. I apologize to the people that weren't satisfied. Unfortunately, I can't make every body in the world happy but I really do try hard to. Thanks more

Unbelievably bad service! It is unfathomable how terrible the service was from Gorilla Trucking. I ordered top soil from this company almost a week in advance and was told that the soil would be delivered at 9am. 9am came and went without a word from the company. To make things worse, they did not answer their phone when I called. Two hours later I finally reached someone and was told that they would be at my house in an hour. That hour came and went. Once the time reached 5 hours late I cancelled. I believe that they started to screen my phone calls and were ignoring all communication. They are unprofessional and should never be trusted. I dearly hope that this company goes out of business so no one else is treated this poorly. Please please please heed the advice given by me and others on this site and do not call Gorilla Trucking for any business! more

This was by far the most unprofessional and difficult contractor I have ever dealt with. After crushing my sprinkler box and all the valves inside delivering my dirt he quickly apologized saying it was no big deal and he would send me a check for the repairs. I sent him a receipt for the parts and have never heard from him again. Not that I was surprised by it after he dumped 3 times the amount of dirt I had ordered onto my lawn. I pointed this out and was told that he always gives extra and never gets complaints. That's nice but I live in the city and ordered what I needed with nowhere to place any extra. Again he apologized and assured me no big deal he had someone in my area that needed dirt and would come help get rid of it. I called several times over the next few days having never heard from this ""friend in my area"" each time he said he would call him and then call me right back. I never once received a call back. This guy is a joke save yourself the headache and go with a real professional. more

Well it's clear to see that a few people have not had the best experience with Gorilla Trucking, and I'm sure it was just an ""OFF"" day, which we ALL have - I know I do as a self-emloyed landscaper - just never can make everyone happy - and usually it's because those people are SOOOO miserable, that they don't allow anyone to make them happy and we, as business owners would rather NOT deal with them - there's plenty of work out there and it makese our days much better not having to deal with the type of people that have left the negative reviews about Gorilla Trucking! \r \r This company is outstanding, regardless what these small handful of people have said - if Gorilla Trucking was THAT BAD do you REALLY think they'd still be in business???? Maybe I've always gotten the 5-star service from them because I also give them 5-star service - it's rough roads out there & it's hard to travel around the valley and make it everywhere on time - not to mention, man-handling a huge dump truck and trying to make calls and take calls??? It's not at all safe to be on a cell phone while driving - give the guy a break and get over it - your life has obviously moved on... I'll recommend and DO recommend this company to every person, fellow landscaper & all friends & family! Pros: Friendly, Funny, Awesome Prices Cons: ZERO!! more

I called this guy on thursday. He said he could come out on friday and asks if he can call me back in a couple minutes to get my address. He called back 3 hours later and wonders why I didn't pick up my phone?\r \r I called him 7 a.m. friday morning and gave him my name, address and told him I want a truckload of topsoil. I kept calling every hour or two throughout the day, he didn't call back until 6:30 p.m. Friday night. \r \r Then he says he will come out Saturday at 11 a.m. so Saturday comes and it's 1 p.m. and the guy hasn't called or shown up. I call him and leave him a voicemail telling him I'm waiting for him and to please come as soon as he can. He calls back around 2:30 and I didn't catch it in time to pick up. He leaves a voicemail saying he's not coming since he doesn't know if I'm home or not. Obviously he doesn't know how to check his voicemail or he would have gotten my message telling him I'm home waiting for him. I also had 4 people come over to help me and we were all sitting around waiting. I called him back within 60 minutes but he refused to come out!\r \r I decided to give this guy one more chance, he says he's sorry and that he'll come out Monday night after 5 p.m. because that's when I'll be home from work. I call him at 4 to make sure he's going to show up and he doesn't pick up. I left him a voicemail but he never returned my call and of course he didn't show up. This guy doesn't call, he doesn't show up, he's rude on the phone and doesn't seem to really care when he stands you up. \r \r Thanks for nothing Gorilla Trucking. I went with L.J. Mascaro Trucking instead. They have been awesome and my neighbor used them, he has the greenest yard in our neighborhood! I told L.J. Mascaro trucking about my experience with Gorilla and they apologized on behalf of the industry for the guy, that's how classy Mascaro is and how classless Gorilla is. I realized at the last minute that I would have some time this weekend to start some yard work & wanted to take advantage of the nhice weather so I started calling around in hopes that I could get some topsoil delivered TODAY, (very short notice!) and finally I talked to these guys who had a very busy schedule but must have heard the desperation in my voice and they fit me into their busy schedule today & within an hour I had a load of the best topsoil I've seen!! Talk about going the distance for your customers! I'll be telling everyone I know about these guys! And by the way, they beat everybody else's price - it doesn't get any better than that! Pros: reliable business!! Cons: none!! more

Ordered 15 tons of gravel, showed up with 14 ton of gravel. Ordered another 15 tons of gravel to have delivered on a Friday, he never showed up nor did he call. We had 3 guys waiting at the house to help spread the gravel. Called Monday AM, he promised to deliver gravel on Wednesday but so far, he is a no show and my husband took another day off from work. My husband has missed 3 days of work so he could be home when the gravel was delivered, to pay the guy. Very unreliable and will not recommend his services to anyone. Very disappointed. Cons: Never shows up! more

I've used this company four times now and every time he's been there on time. I've got topsoil and bark from him the soil was some of the best soil i've seen, very nice stuff. I highly recommend this company. Pros: best product and good service more

I rented a Skid Steer on a Friday and Doug promised me he would have rock and sand to me. Well it never showed up, I got a hold of him Friday night he said he would have it to me Saturday Morning, no show. He promised me Monday no show and just keeps lying about calling back and then shuts his phone off. I would tell him to eat it but i paid $260.00 for my rental and i want my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR DOUG HE WILL NOT DELIVER ANY THING HE SAYS........ Pros: NOT ONE Cons: HE WILL LIE AND LIE UNTIL YOU GET SICK more
