Nice place good beer and food what more does a guy need ? My server was hot and I wish I had her telephone number. Overprices food, inconsiderate staff, ridiculous seating policy 10/7/2007

1. The food is ridiculously overpriced. $13 for a burger that you can get for $8 at any other restaurant. ""Seasoned"" fries that have less taste than your average fast food joint. Everything else is even more ridiculously priced. If you want to spend the cash, do yourself a favor and head across the street to Cliff's Edge. Great Mystery Beer Night on Wednesdays! 9/21/2007

I only go for the mystery beer night ($3 for quality beers? Yes!). The food is overpriced and not that great, but if you're looking to try some great beers for cheap, go here. I suggest going with a large group so you can swap mystery beers in case you're not into certain flavors, and also a nice way to try all the different mysteries available. Service is great to boot. The 5 star reviews for this restaurant are LIES! This place is a joke. The $5 dollar special portions are so small you are left starved and need to order more food. Additionally, their is a minimum per check ($20) and the non-alcoholic drinks like Iced tea are grossly overpriced ($5-$7) and the most inexpensive beer is $12. Good food and fun place to eat and be scene. 9/1/2007

Most places have either a good restaurant or a good night life. This place definitely has more a ton of both. I have a blast everytime I come in. Food is awesome and you get a little of everything that Silverlake nightlife has to offer, great beer, food, great drinks and great atmosphere. Much better experience if your out with friends or trying to make an impression. Good microbrew is a fun, festive environment and the best beer selection in town. The food is always fabulous, whether it's traditional meatloaf or you are looking for great steaks or burgers. Good can't be beat; there is no better place to celebrate, hands down. Really BAD Service...And not so good prices! 8/31/2007

I've never been all that impressed by this restaurant, but it was hot tonight and so we went out looking for a place to eat with some air conditioning. We ended up waiting for more than twenty minutes, but never saw a waiter...pretty ridiculous, considering this place is supposed to be a restaurant. Also, the food is somewhat overpriced (for what it is) and is not at all impressive. Anyway, I'll definitely never go back to GOOD, and if you're in Silver Lake, I'd recommend going to EL CONQUISTADOR or the new vegan place, FLORE. more

Best Birthday ever! 8/27/2007

I arranged for a group of 20 people to come here for my daughters birthday--30 showed up, and the staff was very helpful, moving tables around and setting up at the last minute for the extra crowd. The service was consistent for each table, so we all got done around the same time, and the food and drinks were excellent! I was very impressed that we were served quickly--in about 15 minutes, as there was such a large group. I really enjoyed my salad with the restaurant's home made dressing. My friends loved the beer. Obsessed with good microbrew 8/21/2007

LOVE Good microbrew for food and beer on an off-night. The menu is great, my only negative is that I have so many favorites, I rarely try anything new. There is the fried chicken and a good salad with about a pound of chicken.pasta dishes, yummy aps, etc. Wine list is short but decent, and quite inexpensive. Martinis and special drink list is fun and reasonably priced. It is a a great scene on fri/sat, as a line develops out front by 10pm. Perfect neighborhood locale for casual dinner and microbrews more

If you are looking for a relaxing, friendly atmosphere than you owe it to yourself to visit Good Microbrew and Grill on Sunset Blvd. in Silverlake. Despite the high volume, the bartenders and Servers will always make certain that all your needs are fully met. Don't be surprised if by the second visit, they remember your name and drink, especially Bix . So go out and see for yourself why Good Microbrew is the place to be in Silverlake. Fabulous beer selection and very good food 7/31/2007

Good Microbrew has to have the best beer selection this side of La Brea. Great selection of brews from all over the world. The server weI had was a gem of a girl. We enjoyed our NY Steak and it was cooked to perfection. I am so happy we discovered good by accident on our way back from a Dodgers Game. Good food and big portions for the hungry mate. Great place for some good grub and craft beers. Huge selection of brews and the menu is extensive. Good place to check the ladies out and see if you can find a date. Singles welcome here and its a great hangout. Dog friendly and patio hot with the ladies and their pups. Great Belgian's....Food Can Take A Dump 7/7/2007

I live up on Effie St. and occasionally I'll walk down to Good for a yummy Belgian Beer, but that's it...I do not dine at Good. I've tried twice and both times I couldn't believe how bad the food was and it wasn't just me, my lady thought the fare was revolting. The service isn't bad, I guess it would be if they didn't have that one guy (kinda tall dude with a fohawk) who actually has some service skills and better than average beer knowledge. Next best thing to the Cafe Wha in New York City 7/3/2007
