Soccer played correctly 4/5/2011

Great Soccer 3/26/2009

Coaching staff, field availability, consistant practice and game times. They are located in apex cary. Recommend to any parent! Pros: excellent staff and training Cons: wrong address listed more

Older girl teams need you 9/10/2007

The Goldstar coaches are impressive and I wish my daughter could have benefitedMy daughter is too old. They are growing into their recreational league and game play for U13/14 girls is bleek. Younger girls in the program will benefit as season pass, but older girls are in need of your coaches too. The coaches were gracious and allowed my daughter to train several times with the boys. The director called out to 2 different clubs and helped her secure a spot elsewhere for recreational play. Not many clubs do that. Pros: coaches program fields for games Cons: my daughter was too old but they still helped her more

Goldstar Soccer - Five ""star"" youth soccer program 5/12/2007

I heard good things about Goldstar Soccer, so I thought I'd enroll my youngest and give it a try. I would have never guessed that my 6 year old would receive hands on training from coach Mike himself. He got my husband to coach our team so we are in it head on. The Goldstar staff has guided my husband as a coach and taught my son more about the game. We like having the games and practices all in one location. Outside of coaching the staff is good but there needs to be more. Pros: Parent coach guidance, adhere to the USSF rules, small sided games, one location for games and practices Cons: More volunteers needed for field communication, there are a lot of children more

Excellent Player Development - Excellent recreational & competitive programs 2/17/2007

Goldstar Soccer Club focuses on a competitive environment rather than a competition environment. Their primary focus is on individual technical development. In this competitive environment, the individual athlete strives to improve their individual performance in a squad environment. They place emphasis on individual technical improvement, and no focus on winning as this is out of the control of the athlete. However, how well they perform is totally in the control of the individual. If all athletes on the field performs to their full potential then this increases the chance of being successful; winning as a consequence of development! Coach Mike Moltzon was born to do this. He works the competitive end, along with superior coaches. His wife handles the recreational end. Great teamwork all around. Goldstar starts kids at 4 years old. Pros: Excellent player developement Cons: occasional construction as fields are being completed more

Wonderful soccer training and memorable experience. 1/19/2007

Recently moving from MD where soccer is prominent, we were pleased to find Goldstar. The coaching was exceptional and my sons overall learning experience and was great. The director was more than accommodating & friendly (she has a contagious smile). There is 1 team who is a sitcom skit. We will be back again for their next league to watch that team AND for the soccer. Pros: coaches, program and staff Cons: none really, there was a lot of construction on new fields more

Best Recreational Youth Soccer League! 10/16/2006

Super! My nephew is playing U5 (he is 4) soccer with Goldstar. They have an excellent professional training staff for REC KIDS! All games and practices are at the same time, same location each week - at their outdoor complex in Apex/Cary. I can't beleive how he went from picking grass to actually learning, loving, and playing soccer! Thank you coach Billy and Jim! - Val Pros: Professional Coaches for rec soccer - can't shake that with a stick! Cons: Porta potty unitl construction is complete, but it beats the woods! more
