I took my older car in for repair. The cost they gave me was $700. Which was way over priced and I knew it. But I was stuck and it appeared to be a nice place and I figured they'd take care of it. Was I ever wrong. I didn't even get the car home without it overheating, a completely different problem than i had to begin with. I returned the car and they wanted to charge me an additional $400 to fix it. The manager 'richard' claimed he was trying to help me out by charging me $1,100 but really he was not at all helpful, argumentative and arrogant and really just ripping me off. He didn't budge, so I had to take my car out of there in no better condition than i brought it in and out $700!! Terrible customer service, terrible place. Don't be an idiot like me, stay far away from this place!! Cons: terible attitude and customer service. arrogant and belittling. more

My husband brought his car to this mechanic and he was was over-charged by $300. The car didn't make it home, the manager was argumentative and unreasonable. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic. Try the Shell Station on Beach and Ellis. Pros: Work was done quickly Cons: Didn't repair the car. more

Can't imagine how this shop got on the ""best"" list. They over-charge and take advantage of women who aren't repair saavy. If you need repairs in Irvine, go to the Culver 76 Station. more
