Best Thai food in town, hands down. Don't miss the Hung Ray curry! We go almost every week and the quality and flavors are amazing. We used to go to Jasmine in Cool Springs and actual prefer this to Jasmine! (Surprising for us since we used to drive from Nashville to get it!) The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food always comes out quickly. I like how they use all fresh ingredients. The carrots, freshly sliced ginger, and well-cooked broccoli are a nice touch. The duck dishes are divine and great for celebrating special occasions. Don't miss this place! more

They claim to be real Thai but the food is NOT! I moved from Chicago, but in my work in Airline management I have tried Thai food in all parts of the US and this is nothing to write home about. I had been meaning to try Golden Thai for several months, and finally got around to it today. I shouldn't have waited so long! Being my first time there I stuck with an old favorite: red curry with chicken. Everything was fresh, authentic, and the portions are beyond generous. The bottom line: possibly the best red curry I've tasted outside the West Coast. more

I'm already ready to go back. I've been in Bangkok and the food here is authentic Thai. Spring rolls are delectable. They serve red and green curry dishes that your tongue won't believe...and I thought I didn't like curry. The servings are very generous and the pricing is not expensive. In a culinary wasteland like Nashville, finding this lovely little restaurant was like a breath of fresh air. Even though it was at least 45 minutes from where I was living in Murfreesboro, when we wanted a great meal, we made the drive to Golden Thai. more

Busy lunch hour with several errands in the neighborhood. It's late, but some tasty Thai food to take back to the office sounds so good. I wait at least 10 minutes to place my order while the hostess converses with two customers paying their bill. Finally my turn to place an order. How long will it take? Only about 10 minutes, she says. Oh, well, I've already invested 10 minutes, I can wait that long. I wait. Now the 10 minutes have long passed. People coming in, going out, ordering, waiting, and here comes a to-go order. Yay, at last. No, not mine, it's for someone who seems to be a long lost friend of the hostess. The chatting goes on. They leave. I ask about the status of my order: ""half done,"" she says. Minutes continue to tick past. Now at least 40 minutes into the process, still no food, and the hostess is making rounds through the dining room, stopping at tables to chat. She ignores my signal. I finally give up and leave. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant for a quick lunch! Love the Tom Kha soup, steamed dumplings, and spring rolls!!! We have ordered take out lunch from here a few times and its been great every time. Pros: Easy parking, great take-out service (food was hot and ready when I arrived) Cons: Some of the employees don't understand English very well... but hey, the food is good. more

We hail from the Pacific N.W. and were not expecting to find great thai food in Nashville. We were definitely wrong! Golden Thai had excellent food and the service to match.
