Better than other companies 9/9/2012

I have used NY Gold Rush Refiners twice before, and yet again. I am always given a great price for my gold, far better than other companies. I always receive first class service from them. Last time I sold off to them my unwanted gold and silver jewelry and was more than happy with the amount of cash I’ve got on the spot. I recommend them and receive more than expected from selling my gold to them. Great company. more

It was the ugliest diamond necklace that I have ever seen. I got it from my mother years ago because she hated it. So did I but I did not have the heart to tell her. Wonderful service. Best Gold Buyers in New York. My Wife and I had a quantity of scrap gold to sell. After checking several gold and jewelry buyers, we chose Gold Rush Refiners as they sounded very professional over the phone. We were not disappointed. On our visit to their premises we found the staff extremely efficient and polite. And as the result we’ve got great cash for our gold. Very fair 9/5/2012

I recently sold a coin collection to Gold Rush Refiners after having it appraised by a very professional appraiser. I had done business with them before and wanted to make sure I wasn't getting ripped off. Their offer was 50% higher than some gold and jewelry buyers I went to compare! Thanks, guys. When I was walking back to my car in the mall I found a gold ankle bracelet laying in the parking lot. It was not very heavy but it was clearly marked 14k on the clasp. I was on lunch at my job and had it in my pocket. I remembered that Gold Rush Refiners, who was near by, were gold buyers and were always looking for items. I took a walk over there. I never thought that I would walk out with over one hundred dollars in my pocket. That was found money. I will keep looking on the ground when I am walking from now on. more

A co-worker had been talking about the great deals she got from bringing her mothers old jewelry and silver to Gold Rush Refiners. That is what made me go there for the first time with a pair of gold and pearl earrings that I had for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised by the offer I was given. Very positive experience! 7/12/2011

I had a very positive experience when I first went into Gold Rush Refiners. It was when I was laid off on my job as an alarm technician. I had done some work nearby and remembered seeing people coming and going and was told that the place bought anything that was worth money. I had a couple gold and diamond earrings that I had bought as a gift that I never gave so I brought them there in hope of getting a little extra cash. The person I met was very pleasant and had a great attitude. I was made to feel very comfortable and welcome. I was paid a very fair price for my item and it really helped me during a difficult time, I have returned several times since and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the place. more

Top Notch! 7/12/2011

It was getting near to the holidays and I was really short of money to buy gifts or even a grab bag gift for the office party. I had heard that Gold Rush Refiners was looking to buy old silver and gold. I had some silver dollars that had been accumulating dust in a drawer for years. I decided it was time to sell them. I went to see them and they were very nice and were more than happy to look at my coins. They explained to me about the different grades of coins and how that affects their value. They paid me a lot more for them than I ever would have thought. The holidays will be better thanks to my new friends at Gold Rush Refiners. more

Top Notch!!! 5/2/2011

I was in a second hand store and there was a pair of wire rimmed glassed in an old case in a box along with many other pairs of glasses. I bought them for 3.00 and took them home. Upon examination with a magnifying glass I saw the on the nose bridge they were marked 14K. I brought them to Gold Rush Refiners and they paid me 325.00 for them. They told me that they are highly desirable to collectors and vintage clothing people alike. They actually have plain lenses put in them so they can wear them as a fashion statement. Who would have thought? A good return of 300 percent on my 3.00 investment thanks to Gold Rush Refiners. more

I would highly recommend. 4/22/2011

My mother passed away last year and my brother and I were left to sort through everything and liquidate what we did not want. We sold some pieces of furniture and donated a lot more along with clothing. There were drawers full of costume jewelry and some finer pieces. My friend is a jewelry buff and I had her look and give her opinion and she said we had a lot of money in designer pieces and gold. She warned us against the local dealers as they pay very low and sell very high. She suggested we call Gold Rush Refiners in Brooklyn. We did and it was definitely worth the trip. The jewelry raked us in over $3200.00 for which they paid us cash on the spot. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell jewelry. more

Exactly the same. 4/19/2011

One day my wife and I were going to weekend sales in NJ when we came upon a church rummage sale. We walked in and we could tell that it had been very picked over. We were just going to leave when my wife spotted a clear glass jar behind the checkout desk that was being used to hold an assortment of old, small items. She asked the woman if it was for sale as a lot. She said it was 3.00. Later I asked my wife why she had bought it. “You’ll see.” She replied. She brought it home and dumped it out on the table. There were some manicure items in the jar along with various other things. In the middle of it all there was a pair of tweezers. They were marked 14K. A week later we brought them to Gold Rush Refiners and let them look at the pair. They said that this was the first pair that they had ever seen although they had heard that people used them in the 1940s for “sanitary” reasons. Later I asked my wife how she knew and she told me she had bought one years ago that was exactly the same. I am so glad she new of Gold Rush Refiners. We used the 500.00 to have a nice meal that night and used the rest for necessities. more

I am a single woman and was between jobs and my internet/cable bill was due in a few days. I was 125.00 short and had no way of coming up with the cash for at least a week. Someone had told me about Gold Rush Refiners. I searched high and low and found a pair of gold earrings that I had received once as a gift that was never worn. Ten years ago I think the guy paid around 100.00 for them. I took them to Gold Rush Refiners and walked out with 200.00. Thanks to Gold Rush Refiners and the guy who broke up with me10 years ago. I will be returning to Gold Rush Refiners soon after I clean out my old jewelry box. more

Great cash payouts for watches. When I walked in with my top of the line gold Rolex, I could tell the appraiser really wanted it. I was my grandma’s favourite. In fact I had inherited a few of her antique pieces. Recently I had a job promotion and had to move to a new location. My new pad is smaller than my current one, so I am unable to fit them in my place. I brought them to Gold Rush Refiners to find a good price. They sure struck a fair deal with my items. more

exceptional service and accurate scale 2/15/2011

I had a few pieces of broken jewelry which I haven’t found time to have them repaired due to my hectic schedule. Planning to sell them but I was dismayed by the prices quoted by the jewelry shops I went to. A good friend of mine suggested that I have them appraised by Gold Rush Refiners. I was surprised when I heard the high appraisal of my gold despite the fact that that they were broken.
