Very friendly Brooklyn Jewelry and Gold Buyers. I sold Gold Rush my old jewelry and some Antiques what I kept since my grandmother passed away. It was very simple process. They examine my jewelry in front of me and weigh it. And I could not even imagine they will pay me so much. They gave me the highest (among other buyers) price in cash. Thanks for help. I will definitely be back with my unneeded items and recommend this place to others. more

I went into this very friendly, up-scale, store in Staten Island about a week ago to sell some gold and silver jewelry I no longer had use for. I had been in too many other jewelry stores and some pawn shops in New York and wasn't getting near what I wanted. My salesperson at Gold Rush was so knowledgeable and welcoming, not only did I sell them my jewelry (for the best amount I found anywhere), but I also ended up buying myself a nice gold chain. They made a normally unpleasant experience very enjoyable. more

All my life I had been in possession of a big clunky brown stone in a gold frame that I found after my mother had died. I never wore it and I do not remember her ever wearing it. I was in need of some extra cash so I thought I would sell it. I brought it to Gold Rush Refiners. I found them to be professional and very cordial; they made me feel right at home in their Brooklyn office. I was surprised to learn that the piece was 18K gold with a high quality amber and they offered me cash that was much more them I expected! I will be back soon with some other old pieces. more

I was cleaning out an old dresser and there were a couple of old lady?s watches that my mother may have worn in the 1950s. I was always going to have them appraised but never got around to it. I made an appointment with Gold Rush, scooped the watches into a zip lock bag and brought them in. I was astounded at what they were worth. They brought me almost $800.00. I went back several more times with old bracelets etc. I am a very happy customer. more

I am a single woman and was between jobs and my internet/cable bill was due in a few days. And I had no way of coming up with the cash for at least a week. My sister recommended trying Gold Rush. I searched high and low and found a pair of gold earrings that I had received once as a gift that was never worn. I took them to Gold and walked out with a good amount of money. Thanks to Gold Rush! I had a bunch of broken gold jewelry sitting in my drawer for as long as could remember. Someone told me about New York Gold buyers at Gold Rush Refiners. I gave them a call and we set it up for meeting. After examining and weighing my stuff the buyer paid cash on the spot for everything I brought in. It was really good deal! I knew my father had always had this gold and emerald cufflinks in his jewelry box. He had inherited it from his grandfather and never wore even once. I suggested that he sell them and use the money to repair the front steps to the house. I took them to Gold Rush Refiners and they made a very generous offer. They paid enough to cover the entire masonry job plus more. I will be digging through my own jewelry box next to cash in at Gold Rush Refiners. more

No unpleasant attitude. 7/22/2011

My friend is what is known as a picker or runner in the antiques business. He scour the entire NY Metro almost every day for stuff he can sell to dealers and collectors. He sells a lot online but he told me the only place to sell jewelry in NYC is Gold Rush Refiners. I brought some old pieces there and it looks like he was right. They paid me what I consider a fair price with no unpleasant attitude like you get with so many other jewelry buyers. I will definitely go back again. more

Great! 7/17/2011

There was no way I was going to let my brother pay the parking ticket and towing when he came to visit me in NY and parked in the wrong spot. He did not have the cash and either did I but I did have an old watch that our father had before he died. I took the watch over to Gold Rush Refiners, a NY gold buyer a short ride uptown. They gave us enough fro the watch to pay the towing and ticket and for us to grab a couple of beers to celebrate. I will be bringing some other items there soon to turn into cash on the spot. more

I was paid by Gold Rush Refiners several times in the past year for old jewelry and a couple watches and a gold coin that I had. I never could have made it through the hard times without them. I have recommended them to over a dozen other people and have even been paid through their affiliate program. Probably purchased. 4/26/2011

I was walking home from the farm stand near my home in Port Chester NY when I spotted something shiny on the ground. I bent over to retrieve it and saw that it was a gold pin with a familiar motif. It appeared to be a claddagh. It was very dark and dirty on one side and the other caught my eye as it got scuffed and the light reflected off it. It could have been laying there for years. I brought it home and cleaned it up until it shined like new. When I went to work the following day I brought it along to show my friend at Gold Rush Refiners. I brought it in on my lunch hour. I was told that it was, in fact, a claddagh and probably purchased in Ireland and most likely from the late 40s or early 50s and was a highly collectable and rare piece in 14 carat gold. They paid me 300.00 for it. My advice is to always look at the ground when walking. more

They were very pleasant and professional. 4/22/2011

Last year my mortgage was past due and I was really short and I had exhausted all my resources. My unemployment benefits ran out and the only income I had was doing part time telesales from home. Someone on a webinar, about making extra money, suggested to look through old jewelry and unload everything that was no longer worn or wanted. So I started to dig. I came up with an old bracelet, my fathers old gold watch and his gold tie bar, three silver dollars, one silver casino coin, and a heavy gold chain that I found in the street years ago. I put the whole mess into a little drawstring bag and brought it to Gold Rush Refiners. They were very pleasant and professional and made me feel right at home. I walked out of there with almost 1100.00 cash! more

I have never been disappointed. 4/18/2011

I have been back to Gold Rush Refiners at least a half dozen times with jewelry that I have bought at thrift stores and flea markets. I have never been disappointed in their offers. The best was an old cameo from the 1940s. I paid 5.00. They paid 200.00. Other items included old watches, a gold thimble and a diamond tie tack. It is a lot of fun and pays better than a part time job time job! I can?t wait to see what I can bring them next. You never know what treasure you might find. more

Great way to raise some cash! 4/10/2011

Was in a real tight spot at the beginning of the month, all that spending on my credit card finally caught up to me, rent was overdue, and i needed some cash...quick! So i stopped off at Gold Rush Refiners after work, i always see the place everyday...had few old rings from when I was younger that I never wore anymore and they gave me a very good price for them. Excellent staff, very professional, they weighed it out and told me how much it was all worth before I agreed. Happy to say the bills are paid, and I'm not even missing those rings! Excellent Service 4/5/2011

A few years back my uncle lost his job after 50 years, just one year before retirement. instead of his pension and retirement package, all they gave him was a gold watch. So instead of keeping the watch, we went to Gold Rush and they gave him a nice chunk of cash. we took that and invested it in a segregated fund, which last year he cashed out quite a nice return! if i never checked out gold rush refiners, i don't know what my uncle would be doing for an income right now...thanks gold rush refiners! more

I had a few pieces of broken jewelry which I haven?t found time to have them repaired due to my hectic schedule. Planning to sell them but I was dismayed by the prices quoted by the jewelry shops I went to. A good friend of mine suggested that I have them appraised by Gold Rush Refiners. One day I found myself in dire need of cash. With my set of gold jewelry I went to Gold Rush Refiners to have them appraised. I was astonished to discover that they had no minimum weight requirement; no hidden fees and their scales were calibrated. Not only that, I was informed how much I will be paid even before my jewelry was tested. And the great deal was, I had been given an option whether to sell it or not. more
