Kansas Citys finest Japanese Steak House 4/24/2007

GOJOs is one of the best japanese steakhouse one can experience. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. The atmosphere changes drastically once inside. The amount of food is unbelievable. This is said for a lot of places but not all places offer the variety followed by the cool suprise dessert. I strongly recommend this as a place to take people for any occasion. But please do not expect to walk in and be seated without a reservation. If going on a Friday or Saturday night, call by Tuesday. Try the sauce. i wasn't sure what it was the first time and was very hesitant but now I am hooked. Pros: Great food and enviornment Cons: must get reservation, not the best parking more

It has been a while since I've been however I plan to take a date soon. This place is unbeatable for date's, impressing business associates, a friends or family dinner out , birthday's, what ever the case may be. Avoid Saturday Nights! 7/6/2006

Good food and fun. It's really busy on Sauturdays so try another night. The smoking onion volcanos are cute for the kids and make the ladies giggle. Watch out for the flying shrimp, one may put your eye out! Good for dates and kids. Pros: Smoking Onion Volcanos Cons: Very busy on weekends more

I have been dining at GoJo's for over 20 years now and in over 75 visits I have never had a bad experience. The service is wonderful the atmosphere is great. For the price you pay you can't find more food or better quality anywhere else in Kansas City. Make sure you get the yellow and green sauce and put it on your rice too.... IT DELISCIOUS! Make reservations well in advance or plan to wait.... especially if you are late for your reservation..... Gojo's is hands down THE Japanese Steakhouse to go to. I've gone there on dates, with a group of friends and with my entire family--from my grandma to my toddler. Everyone loves that place! And considering we had eight people in our party last time and the check was right at $100.00--how could you go wrong?!?! The sauces are too good for words--you'll want to put them on everything! If you are purely looking for best food, then Hibachi or the one at Crown Center is probably for you. But when you factor in the price, this food is a steal. The service was good and it is probably the most authentic looking Japanese restaurant in the city. more

Gojo's is our prime place to feast. Generous amount for your money. Meals there average around $11. The atmosphere of Gojo's is fun for the whole family! Food is the most delicious I (or anyone I've ever taken with me) have ever had!! BEST bang for your buck. Will keep you coming back for more. GoJo's has a great atmosphere and it has never let me done when it comes to a perfect dinning experience. My family and friends have been going there for years and we all love it. If you have never had potato and rice with hollandaise sauce (or try the creamy spinach sauce) this is your place! This place, GOJO's, is the best. The food is great and also the service. My fiance brought me here for the first time a few months ago, and we now eat their at least twice a month!!!! The prices are reasonable to. Everyone needs to experience this food at least once. PS.... The FIRE is awesome. more

Great Food, Great Prices, Prices to fit most budgets, you get alot of food most of the times I have been there we needed doggie bags, but the dog doesn't get any of it. reheat hint, heat up a skillet and stir till heated.
