I went to Glitz after a few unsuccessful shopping trips to White Room, Village Bridal, etc. They all had great gowns, but I didn't feel special at all anywhere I went- just felt like another customer for them. I went into Glitz mainly because it's near my house, and I had seen them at the August Bridal Show in Nashville, where I had been impressed with their gowns. \r

Honestly, from the outside, their shop doesn't seem like much- being off the Old Hickory exit in Bellevue- but inside, they have racks and racks of gorgeous gowns- many of which the other places hadn't been displaying. Because I am truly THE pickiest bride, I wasn't sure I'd find something I liked, and even though I found GREAT gowns, I didn't find ""the one"" on their racks- not the ones I had fallen in love with over internet sites, etc. When the owner of the salon asked me what I liked, I told her I just had this image in my mind of something else, and a designer I loved that she didn't carry, and she said bring me the style number, and we'll get it.\r

Sure enough, 4 months later, I have the gown of my dreams that she had to order especially for me and it's PERFECT. It's also a better price than I was able to find anywhere else... I've had such a great experience that I ordered all my bridesmaid dresses and MOB/MOG dresses from her, which she gives an extra discount on if you buy your dress there. \r

Above all, the best part of my experience has been Ann, the owner. She is like having a second mom during the whole shopping process, which meant so much to me, since my mom is out of state.\r

I've read these other reviews, and having gotten to know Ann, it makes me so sad to think so many have suffered bad service! I know she's recently been going through some staff changes, but I can promise all of you HER number one priority is most CERTAINLY making the bride happy.
Pros: AMAZING owner, beautiful dresses, great prices
Cons: not the most beautiful location or building, sometimes seems to be ""short staffed""
