I have used Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor three times. All three times, they've been professional and did an outstanding job. They did a laminate floor for me, and they were willing to do whatever was required. They did a big job in one day, and it helped us out quite a bit. more

Gillespie's Abbey Carpet and Floor put in hardwood floors in my house everywhere except the bedroom and did tile in the bathroom. From the minute I walked into the store, it was a great all-around experience. Salespeople were very thorough and took their time with me. I cannot say enough about their crew. I never met them in person, it was all over the phone and I left a key for them, but they were the most respectful people. They were respectful of my space and communicated really well with me. They finished in exactly the amount of time they said they would. Awesome crew! I'm going to replace the carpet in the bedroom and I'm requesting the same crew. Gillespie's Abbey Carpet and Floor were great! You should give them a try. They are a good, family-owned business and the customer service was awesome. more

Everything they do is professional and top-notch. 5/22/2013

They put flooring in our house in our front room, dining room, kitchen, and hallways. We were so happy with it we decided we would have them do our other two bedrooms. They were very professional, clean, thorough, and fast. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Friendly, professional service and great quality of work 4/30/2013

Initially, I had Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor come out to my home to clean the carpets. In the past, I had other companies come out to do carpet cleaning and the rug was coming up in some areas. When Abbey Carpet did the cleaning, they were very helpful and secured down the carpet, on top of doing a great job with the carpet cleaning. Moving forward, we knew that we wanted to have wood floors in our home and past service experience led us to Abbey Carpet. We began with just looking to get wood floors in our bedroom; we picked out the product and they did a fabulous job with the bedroom floors. Steve Hoover was friendly and fun to work with throughout that project. We will be having them come back to lay down tile and wood floors in the rest of our home. Overall, the service we have receive has been great. We feel comfortable working with them. They are knowledgeable about their products. They are helpful in picking out products. Their Saturday schedule allows us to go to their showroom on the weekend, when we have time. We feel comfortable with them and we trust them with our floors. more

I moved to the Fairfield area and was given their name from our Realtor. I had new floors put in, so they did carpet, tile, and hardwood for me. It all turned out beautifully. more

We have found Gillespie's service to be excellent in every way. 4/8/2013

Our experience with Gillespie's goes back a few years. We had a large room with some ugly carpeting. We knew of them from our son so instead of going somewhere nearby, we drove out to Gillespie's. We were so pleased with the service they offered and the design factor. They had lots of clarifying questions and suggestions for us. They gave us some options, one of which really appealed to us. We took their recommendation and did something different than our original wall-to-wall carpet. We absolutely love it. They have such a multi-faceted service. They don't just sell you, they educate you. more

They have done several things for me and I have always been satisfied. For my home, they've done all the carpeting on both stories. We also bought all the granite squares from them as well as some tile. We use their carpet cleaning service also. more

I've used them for years. I'm a general contractor and I do kitchens and baths. I've used them for tile, carpet, and flooring. I've also had them do work at my own house. I always know what I'm going to get with them. They are great with scheduling and they show up on time. All those little things mean a lot. more

I know that when I use Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor, I will get quality flooring for the price. They always come in in a timely manner. They do what they are supposed to do and they leave on time. I have no complaints. They customer service is great and they are easy to work with. Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor has been around a long time and are embedded in the community. You don't get to that level by doing shoddy business. more
