Excellent Service and Great Attention to Details 8/15/2014

We had laminate flooring installed in two rooms, and they turned out fantastic. Help with selection at the store was great, and the work was professional and with great attention to the details. The carpet cleaning service as superb. Thought we would have to replace some carpeting, but after cleaning they looked like new. more

EXACTLY what we needed! 8/13/2014

We used Gillespie's for new office carpet, and for new wood floors, tile floors, and carpet throughout our home. We got expert, timely service from Monty, Craig, and Tempest, everything delivered when promised, fast and workmanlike installation by courteous installers, great customer service when we had questions, and a final follow-through by the owner to assure complete satisfaction. Great showroom, great products, great folks, fair prices. What else can one ask for? And our house looks like a model! GO SEE THEM! more

Exceeded Expectations! 7/24/2014

We love our new floors, hardwood in the family, living and hallways and new carpet in the master bedroom. The guys arrived on time, worked very hard, cleaned up after themselves, and completed it on time. Craig did a couple of specialized transition finishing pieces for the hardwood floors that look great and his expertise was truly appreciated. Tempe was great to work with on all of the administrative aspects. Overall, we highly recommend Gillespie's - they are professional, friendly, do great work, and offer competitive pricing. more

Great job 6/5/2014

my daughter hired them for me to replace the flooring in living room, kitchen with eating area, hallway and den and carpeting the master bedroom and placing vinyl in the laundry room.....they did a beautiful job....one board in living room I didn't like and they immediately replaced it.... more

I was impressed by the attention to detail, how quickly they were able to respond (verbally, via email and text, AND at property location). They did exactly what they said they would, on time and on budget! I'd highly recommend them. It's rare that companies still uphold the true meaning of Customer Service! more

The folks at Gillespie's are helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. 1/11/2014

We replaced the floors in our bathrooms and laundry room. Monte was very helpful in helping us select an appropriate product and personally came out to take measurements and give an estimate. The work involved moving and replacing toilets, washer & dryer, and hot water heater. The guys were skilled in handling all of that efficiently and courteously and, at the end, did a superb job of cleaning up and hauling away all the debris. The floors are beautiful and the finish work is very well done. None of this was really surprising as Gillespie's installed hardwood floors for us several years ago and did the same superb job. Good product, trustworthy service. 11/19/2013

Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor put in laminate flooring and carpeting. It was done without any flaws. The product is great; we really love it. They got in and got out and left the place clean. They were efficient and tidied up after themselves. I interacted with both Steve Hoover and Monte Hoover. They were both very personable and attentive to my budget. They showed me products that might maximize the value for me and that were durable. These are people you can trust: not just at the beginning when you're purchasing, but all the way through the process. more

Great company 11/18/2013

We made the decision to replace all the flooring in our home. From the time we set foot in Gillespie's, we knew we were in good hands. Monte was knowledgeable and put us at ease. When the work started we were very pleased with the staff. They were efficient and did an excellent job. We went with carpet, VET, and VLT and love it all. I trust Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor so much that I never get a second estimate when I need work done. I've lived in Vacaville for about 30 years, and I've had a few different homes in that time. Gillespie's is great because they have all the different flooring types - carpet, linoleum, tile, hard wood - that you might need. I trust their judgement and their prices. more

Outstanding service and product 11/11/2013

I'm an interior designer so Gillespie's Abbey Carpet has been doing my carpeting and floor installs as well as carpet cleaning for me personally and my clients. I've also had them do flooring here in my store. I've used them for maybe couple of times a year for the past fifteen years. I love that they're family-owned and serve the community. more

Gillespie's Abbey Carpet and Floor put down a subfloor in my kitchen and put down new vinyl tile. The floor layer was excellent. The people are friendly and make sure that everything is perfect. I appreciated their care and concern. I would definitely use them again. I have used the Hoovers at Abbey Carpet and Floor for years and years. They still offer the same excellent grade of performance. They arrived on time, the measurements were correct, the work was done diligently, and they left instructions on how to maintain the floor. It was excellent! more

Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor installed carpet in all of our bedrooms. Everything went really well. The sales reps were great and the installers were not so great, but overall everything went well. The sales reps were personable, knowledgeable, courteous, and basically did everything they said they would do. The installers were not very professional. They took their time installing during the day and I thought the job could have been done in a shorter amount of time. The carpeting looks good. more

One of the best experiences with home improvement projects ever. 8/5/2013

Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor redid the flooring in my upstairs. We have three bedrooms and they took out the carpet and put in laminate flooring in all of them. First of all, from start to finish the process was really seamless. Everybody was super helpful, very respectful, really quick, and very efficient. The workers were very hardworking. They were here when they said they would be, cleaned up before they left, and it looked great when they were finished. It seemed to me that they bent over backwards to accommodate anything I asked of them. I was in a particular hurry and they did a great job of expediting the process. I didn't feel like they were rushing the job. more

I have used Gillespie's Abbey Carpet & Floor three times. All three times, they've been professional and did an outstanding job. They did a laminate floor for me, and they were willing to do whatever was required. They did a big job in one day, and it helped us out quite a bit. more
