The beautiful thing about Getty Granite is not just the fact that they are a family owned and operated business but also how honest they truly are. I am a past employee of the business and am familiar with order of the past review. It really hurts me to see someone try to attack a business that did everything possible to try and help a customer in need. Not only did the customer know the final payment was due at install but they had enough nerve to tell the installers they were calling GG with a credit card and told GG they were giving the installers a check. They went on to give excuse after excuse why they were having trouble paying the balance, everything from family member issues to their dog choking on a something. After GG let them know how legally they were told not to accept partial payments the customer did finally send in the final payment. I would give 0 stars if I could. They cashed my deposit check 4 months before they did the work and then gave me an incredibly hard time when the balance was due! The workers hurried the job and they moved for formica that was the previous countertop and damaged it in several areas. I explained to them I had a financial hardship and wanted to pay the balance in 3 separate payments and they would not accept. They threatened to have me arrested and called ME a thief. They have absolutely NO IDEA how to deal with a customer, that is for sure! more
