PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR’s OFFICE \r I have been a patient for three years already and from day one I have had terrible experiences with this doctor’s office. I go to the doctor only when I really feel I need to, that is why I keep having this office as my primary care. But I am done. No more. When I went for the first time I waited for half an hour. They took me inside a room and they forgot about me and after an hour in the room I got out and told them that I was there. After another hour in there I got my things and I went to the front office and I told them I was leaving and I wanted my copay back. Anytime I go I have to wait more than an hour between the lobby and the patient’s room. The front office people are tremendously RUDE. But the top of the outraged experience was a month ago when I went for my annual checkup and after signing so many papers that stated that this visit is solely for a physical and no other issue will be discussed. During the visit Dr. Asha Sethi told me that I was a little stuffed and prescribed some medicine (I did not take it). Now they are charging me $82 dollars because my cold treatment. I did not go for a cold I went for my annual checkup, I did not ask her to send me medicine. I had a cold and it did not need a doctor’s visit. It seems to me that they are double dipping. Getting money twice for one visit even though I signed the papers that said explicitly the appointment is only for a well checkup. \r more

***** please read, heed and consider my opinion before booking an appointment***** In my opinion this is by far the worst office I have been to. The staff, as stated in reviews easily accessible on the internet, is rude and unattentive at best. Whether in person or over the phone they are cold and condescending, which only raises red flags for me as a patient. Why I am writing this review? I am currently unable to obtain my medical records from this office. They have received 3 request from my new Dr.'s office and several calls from me, about 10 calls over the past 2 months to be more precise. I am so desperate I was willing to go get them myself in person but they are being held for ransom, as I was told I would have to pay PER page if they gave them to me. I spoke with the manager yesterday who apologized and promised they would get them to the new office ASAP. Only to find out today that they did nothing again! I called again the next day and again an apology followed by it will be done asaP and nothing was done. I will EVENTUALLY get my records, however I will NEVER go there again. Be warned as it was my experience that while you will likely see the Dr. The first time to establish care, you will likely only see a PA after that but be charged the same. Also, I had to really create a scene to be seen last time I went, which prompted my change of physician. Not only did they NOT schd me with the Dr as specifically requested, they also had me waiting way past my appointment time, let me add I was the 1st patient of the day---I requested to b the 1st as I was unhappy with how long the previous wait was! I have been seeing Dr Gerace for a number of years and have found her to be extremely thorough, and very pleasant. I have referred her to a number of friends and all have had the same experience as me. I highly reccomend her to everyone. Pros: Location, knowledgeable, friendly, thorough Cons: the walk in clinic can have long waits (totally normal) more

I notice on most of these review sites, mostly it's negative feed back. (And statistically that is the case, people usually only complain loudly if they think they got bad service, compared to those who received good service) Pros: walk-in appts on the urgent care side Cons: difficult office staff at times more

I selected Dr. Gerace's office because of its location and polite and friendly receptionists, but medical services rendered are poor and I have since found another doctor. I am a healthy, 30 yo female and I initially saw Dr. Gerace for a chronic cough. She placed me on a months dose of antibiotic. Because the cough was worsening, she took x-rays of my lungs and informed me that she'd need to send results to a radiologist for analysis because she saw something irregular. (This was worrisome!) I asked for copies of the x-rays as I had decided to see a pulmonary specialist but the office lost my x-rays. (I was later diagnosed by the specialist with seasonal allergies. All I needed was over-the-counter allergy medicine.) Later, I went in for a simple UA, and because I refused to release medical records to her, she discharged me. She has not given me the results of the UA, a service for which I paid. To date, I am waiting to hear back from the office to see what happened to my UA report. I suspect that it disappeared somewhere in Petty Land along with my long lost x-rays. Pros: Clean office, friendly staff, low wait time Cons: Dr Gerace is incompetent, rude, and spiteful more

I started seeing physician's assistants here because it was close to my home and I had no health insurance at the time. Initially, the staff was friendly and attentive and seemed to be very concerned about my health. On subsequent visits, I discovered that this clinic has very high turnover and Dr. Gerace has obviously had a hard time finding knowledgeable, friendly people. I never did see her because her fees were substantially higher than the one for a PA. Pros: Convenient hours, parking is ample Cons: Unfriendly staff, not knowledgeable about most up-to-date medications more

I first saw Dr. Gerace last September and was impressed by the time she spent listening to me and reviewing my records. She ordered a number of routine screening tests for my age group which I complied with. For certain other issues I had, her office recommended a few specialists, one of whom I saw for about seven months. This was not covered by my insurance so I had to pay some substantial fees out-of-pocket. When I decided I could no longer do this, I went back to Dr. Gerace, hoping she would continue authorization of a couple of prescriptions from the specialist and modify another one. It was as though Mr.Hyde took over Dr.Jekyll. She listened to nothing I said, insisted I take another medication about which I had read an opposing medical view, said my recent lab work was in range (in two areas, it wasn't), refused to adjust the medication I was taking, and insinuated that my questions and reservations were insulting. She even went so far as to say I would change my mind about how I was feeling if I just went to see another doctor who would agree with her views! I'm no doctor, but I do know when I'm feeling good and when I'm not and when a medication is or isn't working. Pros: hard to find any...
