Gentech Dentist Hillsboro

The Hillsboro Gentech is awesome with children. My five year old son actually has fun going to get his teeth cleaned. Of course he does get a prize before we leave, but he has fun doing the x rays, using the "Super straw", and talking to the dentist and his assistants. In the waiting room there are coloring books and toys for him to play. They also have movies for kids to watch. All of the employees are so good with kids. I highly recommend taking children to this office. Pros: They know what they are doing when it comes to children! Cons: Nothing more

I dreaded going to this dentist with my toothache and I put it off as long as I could. But, your people treated my so nice and it wasn?t as bad as I thought it would be. Also, thank you so much for helping me to understand my insurance policy. I especially appreciated the flexibility in making payments. Even though I was a little overwhelmed at first with what needed to be done, your compassionate employees helped me understand my options, and worked with me so that I could pay over time and still get my dental work done! I can't believe the warm and friendly service I got at Gentech. Dr. Elson and Dr. Reese were terrific with both my kids, and they now just love to go to the dentist! My son even insists that he didn't get a shot before fixing his tooth, but he really did - it was that painless for him! Their staff is very friendly, and they are always helping me to find time that works around my schedule, and where we can coordinate visits between both doctors. Thank you for being so flexible! My friend recommended Gentech to my husband and I. We were both glad he did, because we were new in the area and usually it takes time to find a place you are comfortable at. Our first visit was enough to convince us that we had found the right doctor and office. I have been a patient of this dental clinic for a little over a year, and am nothing but pleased with all of the wonderful service that I recieve. They really know what they are doing! The girls in the front are very nice and always have smiles on their faces. I see Dr. Elson for my treatment. He is a very nice, down to earth guy. His assistants are great too. It seems to me that they really like to get to know their patients which is why I enjoy going there. They do exactly what they advertise, they make it "All About You"! more

On a weekend I broke my front tooth chewing ice. I was so relieved Dr. Barghouti was able to see me first thing on the following Monday morning. The tooth looked great and I could not tell that I had a filling done at all. The other thing is that Dr. Barghouti gave a shot that I did not feel, thank goodness. The staff treated my problem like they really knew what I was going through. more

They definitely know what they are doing. They have answered all my question and given me eye opening more about the dental health. Now i brush and floss three times a day, it is part of my habit to keep my self in good health. The videos the assistant showed during the time she was developing my films and my dentist diagnosing my teeth, was my turning point to have a better healthier teeth and smile. I called in for an emergency visit and they got me in same day i called. I was amazed how fast i got in! Not only that they were able to fix the tooth ache same day, HOW GREAT IS THAT!! Nice clean office. Friendly receptionist greets me every time I come in for my appointments. I like Dr. Terry and his staff. I always recommend this office to all my friends and family that need to see the dentist. The staff also helped me bill my insurance and answered all of my questions. more

I am currently a dental hygiene student at Pacific University. I went to Gentech Dentist after getting my own exam at school, and they saw I had a cavity. I came in and saw Dr. Barghouti who was very fun and personable. Even though the front desk gal said that she couldn't promise that there would be anything done about my cavity at my first visit, Dr. Barghouti had the extra time, and took care of it immediately! I am very impressed at how well-trained the entire staff is, and that I had such a good time meeting them all. I hope that once I graduate, they will have a job opening at one of their offices because I would like to be a part of this friendly, customer service oriented team. I went in to see Dr. Elson for my first visit, and was really nervous. He was very nice to me, and told me everything that was going to happen before he did it. It was the same with the procedures that he did, too. On some of the longer visits, I got cold, and his assistant offered me a blanket to keep me warm. I have had such terrific, consistant experiences with Dr. Elson, that eventually I no longer needed to take something for my anxiety before coming to see him. He is very kind and gentle, and I recommend him to all of my friends. more

Great office, my son gets his teeth clean here after my brother referred us here. The assistant is so nice and very friendly . I was amazed when he completed his cleaning without a fight. I've been coming to Dr. Reese since December for my son's braces, and I am so impressed. He and his assistants have been very friendly and treated me as family at Gentech. Recently, my son had a bracket break off when he bit into a crunchy pizza crust, which left the wire poking his cheek. I called Gentech that evening to tell them what happened (I couldn't believe they were still open at 6:40pm!) and the girl who answered was kind enough to fit us into their schedule the very next time Dr. Reese was in. We came in expecting to have to wait, since we were an emergency, but the ortho assistant came out and got my son right on time and they had it fixed in under 15 minutes! I'm so happy with them, I'll be sending my two daughters to see Dr. Reese and his team this summer. First of all, when I came to Gentech for my first appointment, I was pretty nervous. Once I walked in, though, I didn't feel like I was even in a dental office. It didn't look or smell like one - it was really comfy, super clean, and the receptionist greeted me with this huge smile and offered me coffee - I felt relaxed right away. While filling out my papers, the orthodontic assistant invited me back - again with a huge smile that made me feel like they wanted me there. I talked to a friend who said I should ask for a "board certified" orthodontist since they're supposed to be the best, so I went to braces,com and found that Dr. Reese is one. Now, I've heard that you don't usually see the actual orthodontist a lot when you get braces, but I wasn't in the chair 2 minutes until Dr. Reese came in to greet me. They actually ran on time and still didn't seem to rush through the exam at all. They took an x-ray and pictures, then the orthodontist measured a bunch of things. Dr. Reese took time to explain the problems with my teeth and how he could fix them. I felt bad for asking a lot of questions, but he just kept answering them with a smile like I was the only one in the office to see him. Their team really seemed to get along and work well together. Since that first visit, I've only had six adjustments so far and I can't believe how much better my teeth look! My teeth moved fast and were only sore for 1 or 2 days after tightenings. Dr. Reese comes in and actually sees me for each visit! I get to brush my teeth with the wires out - which I love! - and they give you a bunch of wax and stuff to keep your braces clean and comfy. They even took my wires out so I could get my cleaning done in the same office! His assistants, Sara and Kat, are so nice and really careful to be gentle with my teeth and make sure I am comfortable before I leave. I'm so glad I came to Gentech Dentist for my braces - I seriously couldn't ask for anything more, and I'm pretty picky! Pros: Very friendly, Knowledgable, On-Time, Right Price, Clear Braces Cons: Braces hurt for 1-2 days, but that's expected. more

I came to the Hillsboro Gentech and had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. The doctor said my teeth were deep in my jaw bone and these were not easy to get out. I was relieved that the doctor was so gentle and quick. Even though I had this surgery in the morning I was feeling back to my self by that night. I had a great experience and even went back to get my teeth cleaned later. Pros: Good dental experience. more
