I cannot even begin to express how wonderful this company is. Not only do they offer beautiful jewelry at great prices, but they follow through with awesome customer service. I was married on 9/24/2011. Some where in the mix of things my wedding band was lost before the ceremony. My husband sent his daughters to Genesis to see about buying another band. They gave the girls a replacement loaner band. When I returned the band on Monday after the wedding, I explained the situation and told them we wanted to try and look for the lost band before buying a replacement. They told me to keep the loaner band for a few weeks until we firmly decided what we were going to do. I returned from my honeymoon and I went in to the store on Shelbyville Rd. last night. I explained that we were indeed going to have to buy a second band. The price of the replacement band was significantly higher than when we first purchased it. They were so sympathetic to my situation that they even discounted the ring to reflect a lower price than I paid for the initial band. This company is worth its weight in gold!! (excuse the pun). Beautiful merchandise, excellent prices, hometown customer service!! They really came through for us. I can't imagine shopping for jewelry anywhere else. more

I had heard a lot of good things about Genesis Diamonds. My fiance and I decided to give them a try. Not only do they offer by far the finest selection and the best prices, the people and the atmosphere were so much more than I could have expected. We showed up in jeans and cowboy boots and every person there, not just our wonderful sales lady treated us like royalty. It was more like making friends than conducting a ""business transaction"". I highly recommend Genesis to anyone that wants a great product, great price and great atmosphere. In my book, Genesis is a class act and model example of what customer service should be. more

I have lived in Louisville for my entire life. My parents have lived in Louisville their entire lives. Growing up here and getting to know the town, the people, the way things are supposed go, its interesting when a new company comes to town. All my life I have heard if you want jewelry you go certain places, and when Genesis Diamonds came to town with their advertising, I admit I was a litle skeptical. \r \r Let me tell you these people are fantastic. I shopped everywhere in town and could not find a better diamond at a better price. When I was there, I really liked how the team that worked there seemed so happy to be taking care of me, working together and just seemed so proud of what they do. \r \r I highly reccomend you check them out, you can't go wrong. more

This place after shopping a many jewelers was the most helpful and pleasant. I;m glad I walked in and was impressed with the products. I had been to the stores in Nashville and as I travel I go to Louisville. The Cool Springs stores had told me the the this Kentucky store carries Brietling and as I was in town had to stop and in see them. This will be my next purchase and was glad I was being pushed to buy that day. My wife and I shopped together at Genesis Diamonds to pick out a ring celebrating our 20th year of marriage. Our salesman, Jim, impressed both of us from the moment we walked through the door. I have heard many good things about Genesis Diamonds from friends and neighbors. Wendy sold me a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. What I liked the most about Genesis was the atmosphere within the store. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and looked genuinely happy to be there. My wife and I travel through Nashville a lot so we've of course heard of Genesis Diamonds. When they opened the new Louisville store we decided to stop in! A pleasant gentleman named Jim welcomed us. He told us all about the company's wholesale history and how it applies to the jewelry consumers. We were so impressed. Genesis Diamonds has a HUGE selection! They offer designers my wife has seen in magazines! We even bought an anniversary ring although our 25th isn't until April! We had looked at local stores and even the internet but the prices at Genesis were indeed significantly better than all other sources, by far! If anyone out there needs jewelry I very much recommend giving Genesis a shot! You will not be sorry!! more

Nothing against the chain or mall stores, but I just like doing business with small privately owned businesses.\r \r I heard about Genesis through all that advertising they do on the radio and told my fiance we should check them out.\r \r This is the second marriage for both of us so I thought all I needed was a plain gold band. Well, I really liked the merchandise and the people working there were really friendly. We went back several times before making a final decision and we were never pressured to come back or buy anything.\r \r I didn't get the plain gold band I thought I wanted, but a three stone ring that will be the last ring I hope to ever wear on my left hand.\r \r I really enjoyed the whole shopping experience at Genesis and the down home good natured people working there. They didn't treat my like a stranger when I walked in, but as a new neighbor who moved next door. I am so proud of the engagement ring and service I got at this store I had to write something. I am not the review writing type, but people should know my experience. I've shopped quite a bit for this and I was probably one day away from making my decision until I made a trip to the post office in the Shelbyville Plaza and saw Genesis Diamonds. I had not heard of Genesis yet but I was in the area and saw it and decided to stop in. I worked with Manny and Robert and they taught me more about engagement rings than all the places I had been combined. I told them I was having trouble getting a good size diamond and a nice ring for my budget, but they worked hard for me and found something I loved. I got an awesome setting and a bigger diamond than I expected. This morning, in front of both of our families on Thanksgiving day, I proposed to the woman I love and it was awesome. She cried and she loves it, and it makes me very proud to give her this ring. Thank you guys for everything. I guess I wasn't dressed nice enough or my hair and makeup wasn't nice enough but no one wanted to wait on me, I was treated like I had the plague. I came into the store with money in my pocket because I had heard all these wonderful things about this place but the service was awful. I finally got waited on, and either they only have crap to sell, or I didn't put out the aura of having enough money to be in the store because I was only shown diamonds that were crap and settings that did not dazzle. Needless to say, they lost a major sale and any future sales because of attitude and assumptions. I will go where I can get service in a pair of levi's just as well as service in an armani suit, and a quality of diamond that is worth being humiliated over. more
