Top Notch Installers 5/11/2017

From start to finish the whole experience was an enjoyable one. Nobody likes making an investment of $10k for their HVAC system but the install looks phenomenal and works great. The paperwork and rebates were handled by Gem and the warranty could not be beat. more

Replace Hot Water Heater 6/8/2016

Gem Plumbing Heating replaced my hot water heater. The plumber (Brian P) that removed the old one and installed the new one was thoroughly professional and diligent. The removal, installation, testing and clean up was done methodically and efficiently. I am very satisfied with that aspect of experience. The administrative part was not as well done. I had to call several times to get a useful time range of when they would be at my house. I never got a call back that was promised until Brian P called to say he was on his way. Each time I called I gave my cell as my contact number. Luckily, the last time I called I asked the person what contact # they were showing and they gave my home phone #. That aspect of their operation needs to be improved. more

Joe C. And his crew were prompt, professional, and friendly. They provided me with solutions for my plumbing problems and performed the repairs quickly and efficiently. At the end of the job, they demonstrated how well the plumbing now works and cleaned the areas where they worked. Gem Heating and Plumbing fixed our big problem 6/24/2015

Rob D and Ferb came out from Gem Heating and Plumbing and figured out where the leak in our a/c heat pump system was, and was able to fix it after three years of struggling with another company. They seem to really know the Mini-split condenser systems. Ours is Fujitsu, but I think Mitsubishi and others are substantially similar. I don't know how their prices compare to others because our original seller footed the bill for this longstanding problem. Thanks Gem. more

Ron is a terrific plumber and problem solver. We have an older home that had several issues. Ron fixed them all even when there were some unforeseen issues that came up mid job. He is very precise in his explanations of what needs to be done to remove issues. We will always ask for him in the future. more

GEM their employees are really GEMS 4/15/2015

I have been twice blessed with wonderful GEM service. Four years ago I had an i an emergency issue on a holiday and Ron took wonderful care and solved the problem. Today he and his "team person" were here to replace a sewer pipe. There are no words that can express my "thanks" to these two great guys for the work they did. They left my cellar cleaner than it was before they got there!!! They were not just professional-they were kind and took the time to explain in detail what was needed and why. They answered my questions -they listened. I have already asked them to come back for another project. Thank you GEM for having the insight to hire two great guys, you have two GEMS!. Great service! Gem Plumbing and heating Co. 3/21/2015

Our Plumber from Gem, Tom S., was awesome. He came thinking it was a simple tightening on the kitchen faucet but once he started working he realized the entire faucet needed to be replaced. He took everything in stride including dealing with an incredibly tight working space in an old house. On top of the top notch work he did it all with a smile. Also the dog loved him. I would recommend Tom S. and Gem to anyone needing plumbing work done. They do it right - the right price - and with a smile. more

All Good 3/20/2015

This company did some work for us in the past and we were happy with the results although it was for a very different project. The plumber arrived on time and called ahead as we were told. He was able to find the problem and made efforts to repair at the least cost to us. There is no such thing as an inexpensive plumbing bill but I thought we got prompt and quality service at a reasonable cost. We were more than pleased with his ability to explain the problem and the solution. I guess the best endorsement I can give is to say we would call them again in the future if we had any problem and I would even request the same plumber, if possible. more
