I have been going to Geena for 2 years for Japanese thermal straightening, deep conditioning, color, and cut. I have been extremely pleased with the results, and have had multiple compliments on my hair. I always feel that Geena listens to what I want, and incorporates that into the finished look, while still maintaining her high standards. She is honest with me about the state of my hair, and what I need to be doing to keep it strong and healthy. She is a kind and good-hearted person, and goes out of her way to accommodate me in the appointment times that work for me. I have been going to Geena for about 3 years. She was the 2nd stylist to straighten my hair. Although my first stylist did an ok job, after seeing Geena I was hooked. She spent so much time with me just to find out what my needs were, I felt so comfortable to go forward with my Japanese Thermal Straightening, I get my hair cut, colored and straightened now with Geena. I met Geena over 2 years ago when my hair was curly and wavy. I told her that I wanted my hair straightened and she educated me about the process thoroughly before changing my hair. What I like most about Geena is the way she checks on the health of my hair every time I see her. She makes sure that I am doing the steps necessary to ensure that I have healthy hair. I went to Geena and had my hair color fixed and do Japanese Thermal Straightening. Let me tell you, I didn't think anyone could change my color from the scary mess I had before to a beautiful auburn with lowlights. But Geena did it...and she even did great job on Straightening my hair. I looked for a place in Bellvue, and sure enough... I couldn't be more satisfied. Hi All~\r Just had my yearly thermal with Geena for the 2nd time and always so impressed with the results. After my first hair wash the hair came out so straight and beautiful. One thing I love about Geena is that when your there she makes you feel very comfortable and top it all your hair comes out so great. Geena is one of the hair stylists who really cares about you and your hair. From the first time I met her, she has been very professional, courteous, friendly, caring, and truly wants you to look the best of yourself. I've had hair coloring and cuts from her many times now, and I always get compliments from my co-workers to strangers in a mall!! I saw Geena in 2007 for the thermal straightening process at Salon Juno. About a year later when I needed touch-ups, I didn't even hesitate to call her at her new salon. She is the only stylist that I know I can fully trust to do an amazing job. Getting a complicated process like japanese straightening done, you need confidence that you'll be in good hands with someone who is experienced, knowledgeable, and knows exactly what to in order to give you amazing results and a great salon experience. Seeing Geena, I really couldn't ask for more! Both times I've had this process done I've been fully satisfied with my hair that went from curly, dry and frizzy to sleek, silky, straight and beautiful. I'll be moving to California in August, but that's definitely not going to stop me from making a yearly trip to Washington to see Geena! Geena is BRILLIANT!! I've had my hair chemically straightened three times in India at a place I knew, trusted and I used good products. Moved to the US three years ago and I've been trying to lock on a place since then. Went to many different salons - didn't trust the cheap ones, gene juarez/pro/gary were insanely priced.....I finally settled on Geena in Salon Juno after reading the reviews on citysearch and I wasn't disappointed at all. Geena has recently moved to Salon Rubio and I moved with her! \r \r She is super friendly (3 hours would be crazy without her!), super honest and committed to making you look great. My hair looks great, smooth, shiny, no frizz and complete wash n wear. She gave me thorough instructions on what products to use and how to take care of my hair, was eager to answer any and all questions and the best was that when I told her I was using some salon products already, she didn't push me to buy her brands. Chemical straightening can be daunting because so many things can go wrong but Geena is an expert in the field, is very experienced and knew exactly what she was doing. \r I also go to her for my haircuts and she is great each time. My next step is getting some color in my hair and again, I don't trust anyone more than her. more

I have been going to Geena for several months and have received the best hair cuts and care possible. My girlfriend used to always notice when i got my hair cut because something was usually odd or out of place. Now she doesn't even notice and never makes a disparaging comment. Geena is very courteous, professional, and always makes sure I am comfortable. I am one of those people that doesn't know what to do with my hair but she has everything under control and I feel great. She always remembers me and knows exactly what needs to be done. Belleuve is a little out of the way for me but I think it is worth it. I recommend giving Geena a call and scheduling an appointment.
