Now this is it...the best American style food in the Bay Area. Three of us four had the calves liver specialty. It was divine...the mashed potatoes, caramalized onions, and apples the tender, tasty liver sat on just heightened the taste sensation. The fourth person had the calamari, which was presented in a creamy sauce unlike any I've ever seen. Ambience is superb, reasonably quiet without being dead, and well appointed. The service was very attentive and helpful when making those important decisions like ""which desert do I want"". Lark Creek Inn is a bit pricey; so I wouldn't go often, but for special occasions, it's the place to go.
