Gallant Transport Inc

I've been driving for Gallant Transport for 7 years now and found this site while looking for Gallant's website. I was really surprised to see a review written by Jeremy Johnson. I heard that guy had quit because I was the driver that had to finish the load he dropped without telling anyone in the office. I said good riddance to him!! and I couldn't believe the crap he said about Gallant. As a Gallant driver I wanted to defend our honor! I had to deal with Jeremy several times over his brief employment and I must say, every encounter was worse than the last. Every time I would see him at a customer's shop he would always start nagging about EVERYTHING. He was never happy. Even though he was driving a brand freaking new truck and pulling an almost new trailer. He constantly complained about other drivers. He probably complained about me behind my back too. On top of all the complaining, he would always leave his problems unfixed for others to have to take care of. He was just an all around unhappy person. I could hardly handle working with him only a few times over the road, I can't imagine how the guys in the office felt working with him everyday. Gallant is a great company that bends over backwards for it's drivers. I cant imaging leaving to go work for one of the thousands of trucking companys that mis treat thier drivers! more

Gallant Transport has been providing great service for its clients for over 35 years as well as a wonderful working environment for the employees. Not many employers offer a 25% match for every dollar put into 401k as well as a guaranteed profit sharing contribution. Most employees have 10+years on the team and look forward to working together every day. There are always those few bad apples that sign on and quit because they can?t live up to the high standards we set. more

Stay away from this company!! They mess your check up every week. The owner Tom Gallant is a coward can't even talk on the phone when he doesn't pay your last check . If you want to try and keep someones money owed to them have some balls and tell them. reviews below are fake look posted same day. I don't like posting on sites but when someone thinks they are not going to pay what you worked for I'm going to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else. more

Out of all the companys I have driven for, this company is my favorite. They are helpful if you have a problem they are understanding if you need time off the miles are good and they are always respectful. I recommend any driver looking for work to apply here, there isn?t much more you can ask for. more

I?ve been at driver at Gallant Transport for over a 2 years now and I couldn't be happier. Dispatch is awesome and they help me everyday with directions and whatever I need. They really know how to treat their drivers and they have never left me hung out to dry on the road. I've been with several other companies in the past, but working with Gallant has been the best by far. I?m thankful to have found these guys and this is where I will retire. more

I am so glad to have found this job. I cant believe how much they let me get away with as far as time off goes. I have a son who is disabled so I need to be at home with him sometimes. These guys actaully let me deadhead home over 700 miles so that I could be with my boy after he had surgery. Thank God for this company! more

I was given a letter fr. Dr. Sid Grossberg a sap who referred me to this company as their letter states they believe in a person's right to a second chance people who completed the required dot follow up guidelines. The letter further states that the dr. should feel free to refer any individuals who have successfully completed his prescribed treatment plan. I did complete the prescrbed treatment plan i call this company Mr. Vernon Riley asked me to fax him all my personal information and i did ss# copy of my dl i did all that he asked never heard from him i dont know what he did with my information i called and i called he wouldnt return my calls i hope my information is not used in any way by any one i give this company a poor rating for the false statements that they made or maybe its not for women or black women ive been looking for a trucking company that would give me the second chance that i deserve i have been clean and sober 3yrs this nov. i was so excited when i read the letter fr. this company in hopes that i might be able to drive but i'll keep looking so thumbs down 2 u guys. more
