Gabriel Shimunov gives a great men's haircut. He made a few recommended changes to what I usually get and I was very satisfied. Granted, I don't have much to work with, but it did turn out to be one of the best haircuts I've gotten in years. A woman from NY was there and said when she knows she's coming to Greenwich, she waits to get an appointment with Gabriel. Awesome salon, highly recommend more

Loved the Experience...?? GABRIEL did an amazing job on my cut and blow-dry! He didn't get all ""scissor happy"" with my hair, instead he gave me a great cut and left the length just the way I like it. He is also really sweet and fun to hang out with... makes it a very pleasant experience. more

Best Experience Ever My fine, thin, wavy, even potentially curly, hair has been a struggle to get cut in a flattering way. In fact, even though I'd found another expensive hair salon specializing in curly hair, I wasn't completely happy. But, after Gabriel Shimunov cut my hair recently, I was FINALLY thrilled with my haircut. I know it's hard to believe, but at the age of 38, I've finally gotten a sophisticated but casual cut that flatters my head shape and fits my hair curl and texture perfectly. Gabriel is one talented artist who has found his calling. And, he's gentle, funny, and pleasant to chat with, to boot. more

Love my hair :) \r I have very curly hair, and it has always been surprising how few stylists can actually give a good curly haircut Gabriel was fabulous. He listened to exactly what I was looking for and really took his time making sure everything was perfect. The cut looks great both curly and straightened. It's been forever since I've had a cut that I could style so effortlessly and would look good all day long. Plus the prices are very reasonable!! Would definitely suggest curly headed girls try Gabriel!\r more

Gabriel is amazing. Every time I get my hair done with him, I leave feeling like a million dollars. I am also convinced that there is no better hair dryer in the world than Gabriel. He always listens to what I want done with my hair, but gives his opinion on what will look best. I recommend Gabriel Salon to everyone; he totally changed my outlook on my hair. more

I just got my haircut with Gabriel and i am really happy with the results every time i?ve asked for a layered cut at other salons i always ended up with a few layers in the front -- not really what i was looking for i have fine hair and i want movement! Gabriel put the layers in the right places and cut my bangs perfectly in one try. I was never this happy with getting my bangs cut i'd always have to wait for it to grow out to look good. more

I received an awesome hair cut! Gabriel talk to you about what your looking for. What will work with your hair and face shape. He ask questions about how much effort you do in your routine. I waited one weeks for the appointment but it was soo worth it. I just had my hair with Gabriel. The haircut he did is gorgeous!! I was afraid that since he is so highly recommended that he was going to be a snob. He was super nice and I'm completely ecstatic over my hair. The salon is good but the experience was great because of Gabriel, he is the number 1 in cuts. No attitude just great conversation. more

It was the first time i'd visited the salon and i felt like i've been going there for years. I was able to make an appointment the day of, went in with a short bob type haircut that had grown out from a pixie cut i got in May and i wasn't exactly sure which style i wanted to cut my hair in. I went in with a few pictures which i showed to Gabriel and he did an awesome job. I was completely satisfied. He gave me a fun edgy short cut which was exactly what i wanted. Gabriel takes a lot of pride in his work and makes sure he gets every piece of hair looking exactly how he envisioned it. Will definitely be making regular visits to Gabriel Shimunov. more

Love at first cut. Just like love at first sight, didn't know it existed, until found it. Gabriel Shimunov makes a haircut a truly very special experience. The salon looks more like a sanctuary - one chair, one customer, one hair magician. He listens to everything that you say, more than that, he understands perfectly what it is that you want, makes couple suggestions and this is when you understand that you are dealing not simply with a very devoted and brilliant professional, you are in front (or, with your back to it, actually) of a real talent. On a friend's recommendation and it surpassed expectations. Brilliant service, a friendly atmosphere and the best, most relaxing hair washing experience. I hate the sinks in most hairdressers but the set up at salon is perfect. Gabriel cut my hair and I was so pleased with the result. He really listened and had some good advice about hair care too. He also understands curly hair, which is hard to find in local salons. Highly recommend! more
