""Stealing"" funds? ""Forcing"" assessments? Hogwash. It's easy to read between the lines with most of these type of posts made by malcontents who are in some cases making libelous statements. G&G has managed my condo for 2 years now and they are doing their job very well, period. I can always get a call back and I've seen improvements with debt collection and with the look and feel of the building. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new company. more

This man is unbelievable on the phone - talked (screamed) over me constantly, threatened to charge me unwarranted monthly fees on a continuing basis, didn't take into account condo fees paid through my bank, and treats questions and concerns as a challenge to his ""integrity"" as a businessman. i.e. ""don't tell me how to run my business""........bad enough but then tells me ""I am finished with this conversation"". Arrogance and ignorance all rolled into one. In addition, my requests for repairs in my building in Lincoln have not been more

Dishonest and unfriendly 1/6/2011

G&G Management is hands down the worst property management company I have ever dealt with. They are dishonest with funds - they constantly ask for assessments and do shoddy work. On more then one occasion they have ""lost"" the back-up reserves and have asked for more money to bail them out. Avoid them at all costs. more

Condo Managemen Companies 1/1/2011

Anyone with a Condo Management problem, please e-mail me at norty0728@comcast.. We have a situation at our complex , managed by Advanced Condominium Mangement, that would boggle your mind. Unfortunately, Mass lay 183A does not cover complexes under 50 units. My husband and I are looking to change this. We've contacted the AG's office and the Gov's office, and no one takes responsbility. We need all the people we can get to make something happen to protect our rights, and not be scammed by our MGMNT companies. Believe me, we know 183A inside and out. If you're in an association of 50 units or more, the state will help you. If not, please e-mail me. If enough people get together, we can make something happen!! Thank you all! more

G&G Management is one of the worst management companies out there. I honestly can't believe they are still in business. There are so many better companies that really understand condo maintenance and repair, this company is clearly not one of them. They are higher priced than other management companies and the repairs do not last. I have heard they have lost several properties in recent years and really thought they were out of business. Worst Property Management Company! 4/9/2009

Worst property management company ever! Do not bother with them. The owner, Norman Gopin is bombastic and does not have a clue how to manage a property. He talks about his success at Beaconsfield Terrace which I have heard is in Brookline. Our Board was considering G&G (I believe they keep changing the name of their company to confuse people). However, the reviews we received from his properties were terrible. No one seemed satisfied with his services and several owners have been yelled at by him. In one case, someone told us he threatened to break an owners door down to gain access to their unit. I hope the violence does not escalate! He claims to do things on the cheaper side but you get what you pay for - we heard that Beaconsfield underwent a huge roof replacement project a few years ago and although he claimed it was for another reason, the roof again needed extensive and costly repairs last year that were not covered by the earlier project. The owners are ready to vote him out but he has stacked the board with cronies. Our own board was looking at G&G but asked around and heard that they are rated extremely low and similar properties either have rejected using G&G or not even considered them. If G&G calls your complex, as the song goes, ""just walk on by!."" Pros: Claim to be less expensive Cons: You get what you pay for! more

I recomend them 11/20/2008

G&G has managed our condo in Newton for almost two years. Great company, with tuned in, responsive staff. Our manager is dramatically better than the previous company's. We were extremely frustrated in the past when our manager did not seem to understand even the most basic questions we had about our building and our finances. This company is the exact opposite. Our current manager has taken care of the long list of basic maintenance that we had been requesting for months! Our financial information also actually makes sense now. I can (and have) recommend this company to any condominium group that is looking for an upgrade. The cost is the same, but the service is miles ahead. Pros: Good Service, Very knowledgable, they just do the job right Cons: Have not had a problem yet (knock wood) more

I can't believe the comments about the water main break! Our manager was not sitting in his office making phone calls, he was at the site working with the contractor, the engineer, the inspector, and Boston Water and Sewer to get the broken water main fixed as fast as possible! I know because I was right there with him most of the time! As a trustee at this site, I could not have been happier with the way G&G worked on this problem. Our manager stayed on top of the contractors and everybody else involved until they got the job done. They put up memos to inform the people living on the site about what was happening, and they didn't rest until it was fixed. What more can you ask for? more

Excellent Service 6/5/2008

G&G manages my condominium complex. The other evening I had to use their emergency service because my neighbor?s toilet was leaking into my unit. They managed to call me back within 5 minutes of the original message that was left. Once their response team showed up to my unit they promptly cleaned up all of the water that penetrated into my unit, and sealed my neighbors leak all in the same night. As an owner I am very fortunate to have such a great management company. Thank you all and keep up the good work! Highly recommended! G&G Realty; No water in three days and no call back from their office! 8/24/2007

G & G manages the condominium complex where I live in Brighton on Kenrick Street. We have gone without water for three full days and I have not had the courtesy of a returned phone call after I have called their offices 5 times. Boston Water and Sewer seems to have shared in G&G's lack of responsiveness as well: their employees have been unable to contact a G&G representative, even after making two phone calls to their ""emergency hotline"" yesterday evening. Pros: Unable to think of one. Cons: Unresponsive; impatient; unwilling to help. more
