Went here to get my Kitchen Aid mixer fixed. The technician told me he would be able to get to it in 3-5 days he got to it in 2 and fixed it the same day. I thought it was going to cost hundreds to get it fixed it only cost 45. I am very pleased with the work and will be going back to get my knives sharpened and a old lamp I have. Used Fort Worth shaver for my lamp repair and they did an awesome job. They Rewired the whole thing and put new sockets in it. They had to practically rebuild one of them for me. I was in constant contact with a gentleman named Marc he kept me updated and bounced ideas off of me on my lamp to help make the lamp just how I wanted it. I will deffineatly return with more lamps and other kitchen appliances like my KitchenAid mixer. Thank you guys keep up the good work. more

I HAVE BEEN A PROFESSIONAL DOG GROOMER FOR FOR 30 YEARS. I WAS BLESSED TO FIND FORT WORTH SHAVER AND APPLIANCE IN 1995. I HAVE ALL MY BLADES AND SCISSORS SHARPENED THERE THEY DO THE BEST JOB AND HAVE A VERY FAST TURN AROUND TIME. THEY ALSO HAVE SOME OF THE BEST PRICES ON GROOMING SUPPLIES. I LOVE THIS PLACE JIM P.S I ALSO BOUGHT A DYSON VACUUM LAST CHRISTMAS FOR MY WIFE WE HAD A WARRANTY ISSUE AND THEY TOOK CARE OF THAT. GREAT SERVICE, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS. more

I use Fort Worth Shaver and Appliances when I need repairs to my Andis clippers and when I need my blades sharpened. I usually never have a problem and they do a great job but I must admit this last time I was not satisfied. I went in and told them exactly what my clippers were doing and dropped off some blades and my clippers to be fixed. I never got a call with what the problem was they just did a unnessesary makeover on my clippers. It went from what normally costs around $40 to $70 with out calling me to authorize what they were doing. Not to mention my formally all black clippers are now half maroon and half black. more

I took My Braun (7526) in because it wouldn’t turn off the switch was bad and needed to be replaced. The person that fixed it did an excellent job, it was fixed while I waited (10 minutes or so) I am very satisfied and will take my stuff there from now on!\r \r Mike\r more

Poor Customer Service 9/25/2008

I took my Dyson Vaccum in for a warranty repair and they told me it would be ready in 2 weeks. When I called 2 weeks later they told me they had ordered the parts 2 weeks prior and were waiting on them from Dyson and didn't know when they might come in. I asked the guy to follow up with Dyson and he told me he didn't do that and I should call. So I called Dyson and they show the parts were just now ordered. Not only did they drop the ball, they lied about. I called back to speak with the owner, Bill, who wasn't in and instead spoke with a guy named Carroll. He was the most unprofessional person I've dealt with ever. He told me there was no way in knowing when my vaccum would be repaired (ie...no date when I could pick it up) and they were not at fault for the mis-communication. He said they would call when it was ready. I told him the customer service was poor and his reply was ""well, then that must make us a really bad company. Is that what you want to hear?"" He would be fired if that were my company. You can bet one thing.....I'll NEVER use that company again. more

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 4/4/2008

I sent them a pair of Oster clippers to repair and they told me to send the charger with the clippers. They called a couple of days after receiving them to tell me they were fixed. I gave them my credit card # and they sent them back to me. They sent them via regular mail so it took several days to get them back to me but that was still ok. I received them on a Friday and when I opened the box my charger was not in the box. I called them on Monday and Ashley said she would find the charger and send it to me. I called them a couple days later and they said they had not found them yet but would get a charger and call me as to notify me they were shipping it. Of course no one called so I called back the next day and got George, he told me he would check it out and call me back that day. You guessed it he did not call me back. So Friday morning 4/4/08 I called and talked Ashley and she said they could not find the charger. She said she would have to get on ebay to see if she could find one but they were getting slammed and she did not have time to do that now. I said I guess that means I will just be without clippers because of their mistake and she said yes. I asked for the owner and she said he was Bill but I had to talk to him on Monday as she hung up on me. DON'T THINK THIS IS A PLACE YOU WOULD WANT TO USE TO WORK ON YOUR SHAVERS OR APPLIANCES. Cons: Everything about the experience was a con for me more
