I went into Friends Salon and saw Joni Ball. She was wonderful, super friendly, and knows what she's doing. She did a cut and color for me and gave me exactly what I wanted. She is really knowledgeable about hair products and really good a coloring hair. The atmosphere in the salon is nice too. I highly recommend going to see Joni! more

I had to try Rene when people at work came in looking great - better than usual, but I wasn't sure why - turns out they went to Rene - and the way he cut their hair, it was effortless for them. I started going to Rene about 13 years ago. At that time he was located about 3 blocks from my place of work. Since that time Rene has changed locations several time. I have tried other places to get my hair cut that are closer to home, cheaper, more expensive, etc. But, I keep going back to Rene. Nobody else compares. I started going to Rene over 4 years ago and LOVE him! It is very hard for me to change hairdressers, manicurists, doctors, dentists, etc....I go to the same ones forever. But, when I switched hairdressers it was the best thing I ever did. Not only is the salon upscale and convenient, I'm getting the best haircut and color I've ever received. I have very fine hair and for the first time, I can just blow my hair dry, put in some product and go. And, my color is so natural that it looks like it could actually be my real color. I went into this salon just to find bosley products. The front desk worker was extremely helpful and informatiive about the product and how I should be using it. I'm in Gresham and don't usually make it out to Happy Valley but it was well worth my time. Can;t speak into haircut but it was very nice salon and very nice people. The owner has no personal, professional or business skills. She has no idea how to operate a business. This place is terribly run. I feel badly for any stylists that have to put up with her. They tell you to ignore previous bad reviews because it's under new ownership.... But even now, the bad reviews start right when you walk in the door. Friend?s Salon has an enjoyable atmosphere and great staff! Whether you are just getting a touch up or you want to look beautiful on your wedding day, Roshelle Wimmer is THE BEST hairstylist in all of Oregon! She is a stylist at Friend?s salon worth mentioning. I have been going to Roshelle for years. If she ever moves away, I don?t know what I will do. I carry her business card in my handbag because I got tired of having to write down her information for people who love my hair. Roshelle cares, she cares about what you want and most importantly she cares about the health of your hair. When I started going to her, my hair was in bad shape. I am a blonde so the bleach took a toll. Roshelle uses products that brought my hair back to life. She did the same thing to my sister?s hair. My sister went to Roshelle with badly damaged hair that was long but thin. Roshelle knew what steps to take to make my sisters hair come back. It took time, don?t get me wrong, but my sisters hair is beautiful now and ladies, it was bad. Another thing that is AWESOME about Roshelle, is that if you want a trim, she literally gives you a trim. She doesn?t cut 2-3 inches off your hair because she THINKS that it is what?s best for you. I'm very particular about my hair. I've been getting my hair cut and highlighted for over 2 years with Amy Lewis. She blows me away every time I sit in her seat.
