I read the reviews, but because of my work schedule and the limited availabilty of authorized Panasonic repair locations, I was forced to go to Frick's. I should have taken vacation time and gone to the shop 30 minutes away. They held my microwave for almost a week, before they claimed they ordered the part. When I called, I got their voice mail, with the promise to return my call within 30 minutes. It was 2 days later before they called. When I called Panasonic, they could not confirm when the part was ordered. I went to the retail store where I bought the microwave, and after explaining the situation, they told me to bring it back for a refund. Frick refused to give me the microwave when I went to pick it up, claiming it was in pieces, waiting for the part. The lady that waited on me lied to me while she was making excuses about their lousy service. She told me the calendar date the part was ordered, then said the day of the week it was ordered, which did not match up. She was off by 2 days, and the day she claims the part was ordered was a Sunday (I doubt they worked on Sunday). They had a very surly attitude. Do not go to this shop, ever! more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. What service? My company had a panel go out in a tv. Toshiba sent this company out. Tech said he needed to order a panel, and would take 4-7 days. Two weeks goes by, I call, April will call me I am told. I am told this in week 3 as well. April (the owner) NEVER returns a call, even though she's the owner? Week 4, I call Toshiba again. Toshiba assigns me a case manager, she checks, gets back and says apparently they NEVER ORDERED THE FREAKING PART. She then gives them the part auth. TWO MORE WEEKS GO BY. I call Frick, no return calls. I call Toshiba, they contact Frick. Oh... they ordered the part just now. Right! I call BS and refuse service by this company, get me another. 7 weeks and you have not even ordered the part? You have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Great job at driving your business into the ground, Frick. Rest assured, I AM making sure all my friends and contacts NEVER call or use your company. What a joke. more

Very Good Service from Frick 1/7/2011

Our 46"" Samsung TV has been back from Frick Electronics repair for over a week now and is working perfectly. After a tech from another company did not find the problem, the Frick tech diagonised the problem right away and correctly. He then replaced the 2 parts required to fix the problem. Frick handled the repair in a very professional and timley way and I would recommend them very highly. I am very satisifed with their work. more

Frick Electronics has definitely earned the negative feedback that they've received from the other reviewers. LG referred me to Frick from as an authorized service provider. After speaking with a polite, informative, and professional Frick rep (April) on the phone, I decided to give them a try despite reading the negative reviews. I wishfully thought that my experience would be different and assumed that the negative reviews I had read were written by angry people who complained about everything and no one could satisfy. I suppose I'm now one of those people and it's companies like Frick which cause the evolution of this learned behavior. more

Stay Away.....Very Far Away 5/26/2010

The absolute worst experience with a company ever. They had my tv for 3 months when it should have only been a week. They never would call or return calls. They never had an accurate information. My tv would just be sitting here still if I had never called. I could go on forever on how bad these people are. I will go without tv next time it breaks just so I don't have to go through this again. Pros: may tv works for now Cons: it took 3 months and everything else imaginable more

Great Job Frick Electronics 3/4/2009

I was sent to Frick Electronics in Independence MO by LG as their warranty station for the repair of a 50"" Zenith Plasma TV. This model has been known to give a loud pop and then lose the video. A Frick serviceman came to my house, looked at the set and told me that it would have to go in to the shop. Having read some of the reviews on pages like this, I was concerned. I checked in the next week and got an update in detail. I spoke with the owner, she was professional, personable, very helpful and informative. Every time I inquired about the progress I got a positive update. They had the set for 3 weeks. Later in the day that they delivered it back to my house, I noticed some red sparkle start to happen in the black areas of the screen, barely visible from a few feet away. I called Frick's and told them and within an hour a technician called me back and said he needed to do some research and he'd get back with me. I got a call the next day and they said they ordered another board and would come out to install it. About 5 days later their lead technician came to the house and installed the new board in about an hour. It has worked like a new TV since. I've learned not to always take the negative content of these reviews too much to heart. I'm sure not everyone that deals with any repair company has positive results, but I do think some people should try to be a little calmer and understanding when it comes to relating to places like this. FRICKS SHOULD BE CALLED (THE WORST) 2/20/2009

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO, I WOULD MAKE IT A NEGATIVE ZERO. THE GUY THAT CAME TO MY HOUSE ASK FOR A RECEIPT WANTING TO VERIFY THAT MY TELEVISION WAS NOT STOLEN AND YOU CAN BEST BELEIVE I WENT TO BEST BUY ON THIS ONE. MY TELEVISION STILL IS NOT REPAIRED. SHOULD NOT BE NEBRASKA FURNITURE MARTS SERVICE PROVIDER!!!! 7/8/2008

This is a company that should not be a warrenty service provider for such a large comany as Nebraska Furniture Mart is. There are hundreds, thousands of people buying their electronics and TV's from Nebraska Furniture mart and they are buying the extended warrenty trusting that if a problem arises that it will be taken care of in a timely manner. This is not the company to do that for you AT ALL. It boggles my mind when you search for them they get 4 stars...when everyone has rated them just one star???? Glich in the system maybe. more

Avoid at all costs! 3/7/2008

Overall, a very bad experience. 32 inch LG 720P LCD T.V. was brought in for an intermittent issue. Repair took an unusually long time, only to find out that the $700 repair was not the cause of the problem. Best Buy wasted their money and Frick wasted my time. I had to bring the TV back for more repairs. Finally Best Buy deemed the TV a complete loss. They ?thought? that replacing the power supply MIGHT fix the problem after their first assumption failed to produce results. But I?m sure they were happy to pocket the $700 for the misdiagnosis. more

If there were a possibility of giving a rating of zero stars, that's what Frick Electronics rates. Pros: The service man who came to my house was nice. Cons: Did nothing to repair my set and were rude, snide and sarcastic when we asked why. more
