I have used Friar Home Improvement for at least 3 major projects. They are currently working on adding a bathroom to turn a bedroom into a master suite. The process is going excellent. They always make design suggestions that enhance the projects. In this case, they recommended a skylight to let in more light. Friar Home Improvement is always good and does excellent work. They pay attention to detail. They once even saved a project for me. I was planning on doing it myself but realized I was in over my head. They stepped in to take over for me and completed the job to my satisfaction. more

We have used Friar Home Improvement several times over 15 years and are very happy. They have done additions to our house, exterior renovations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, etc. They always do excellent work. From color combinations to the actual installations, they always meet my expectations. Friar Home Improvement's workmanship and attention to detail keeps my coming back. They had finished my kitchen remodel a year ago. As is true with all projects, some issues start to arise down the road. Mike was back in the house working on a bathroom remodel when he noticed a slight separation between the grout and counter. It was so small that I hadn't even noticed it. But he caught it and said they would take care of it. His attention to detail is excellent. If you want to enjoy your project, go with Friar Home Improvement. more

DO NOT USE FRIAR HOME IMPROVEMENT. This guy is a thief! He takes your money and then you can?t get a hold of him to do the work. He does not reply to phone message left on his cell phone or office phone. I can?t believe this place is still in business. Please beware ? I wouldn?t want anyone to go thought what my wife and I have gone through this guy. more

Wow what a great job that friar did on my kitchen \r Nothing but helpful to me, told me what I needed to do and \r Where to go to pick out my cabinets, counters , flooring \r There workers were very helpful, and we're great workers. \r Mike M. The owner was also very helpful bringing samples my \r Home so both me and my husband can choose what we liked. \r I will tell you this I have had other work done with other companies\r in the past, but I am so happy I went with friar home improvement\r I will recommend this company to anyone looking for work on there home. Contractors beware. I did a havc job for this company and it was one excuse after another when it came to getting paid. Then he writes a bad check. Excuses, lies and scamming is what he is about. I finally pulled my permit off the job. One rating because I had to more

Friar's Home Improvement of Parma, OH is not a good choice. We contracted for some interior work, siding repair, rebuilt front steps, and a new driveway. It took them over 5 months to complete half the work contracted. They never return phone calls, they don't bother to try and keep in contact to keep the customer up to date as to what is going on, their response to a BBB complaint was to say " will complete the work when the rain stops." Since they waited until mid-Oct to even look at starting the driveway, and the weather outlook for the rest of the month is rain, I dont' even see when they would start. Its been one hassle after another. When you can reach him, Mike the owner is the bullsh!t king. He has one bullsh!t reason after another about why the work isn't being done, can't be done, won't be done yet. I do not recommend Friar?s for having any work done. The owner Mike Midagliotti is horrible to deal with and I was surprised to see that he was still in business given the experience I had with them. When I agreed to go with them, he was right at my house within the hour to collect my check for the half down he required for the job. But then it was a real ordeal to get his son or whoever else he was employing at the time back to my house to actually do the work. It took me calling them constantly and threatening to call the BBB to get anyone to finally show up and work on the job. Mike is the ?Excuse King? when you CAN get a hold of him. They never showed up when they said they would be there and had inconvenienced me throughout the project. I?ve had several problems with the work they did do and getting them to return a call to come out and fix these problems has been nothing but aggravating. im glad to see other people out there are not afraid to write about mike and his son . these guys are the worst in the business\r they sure dont know what they are doing in this trade.\r I been screwed by this company and even writing me a bad check.\r they dont take care of there contractors or even the customers.\r watch out they get your money and run. more

Friar does nice work and uses quality materials. The employees are friendly and courteous and happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. You will be happy with the results. more

a year ago i decided to replace my roof. i called a lot of companies and they came to give estimates but all were very high. when i called them they came right away and offered me a very good deal. they started right away and worked very fast. their serivece is great. the roof that they biuld looks very nice. they are very dependavle and their work people are very freindly. they even offer financing. they have 30 years of experince. they are also liscenced bonded and insured. they offer a couple year warranty. they offer otehr services such as room additons, decks, siding, and basement remodeling. i was very satisfied with their service. they are great. more
