Repairman was very good. However trying to get on this website to earn the subway coupon was very difficult. If I have any complaints it is about the work it took on the part of the librarian to ge to this website. I would give the repairmant 5 stars. Your website zero. more

After our 6 month old dishwasher has some issues, we were put in touch with Fred's Appliance through the manufacturer. The service tech arrived promptly and quickly resolved the issue with the door and rinse aid dispenser. He ordered the parts on the spot and scheduled the follow-up appointment. Very satisfied with the prompt service and knowledge. will definitely use Fred's Appliance in the future for any appliance repairs. more

Never again. We had service done to our dishwasher a few months ago. The technician pulled it out of the space without unscrewing it from the cabinets, causing the clips to break and the unit to then have nothing to anchor it. He did the repair, shoved the dishwasher back in and left, leaving two plastic plugs on the floor that were supposed to go over the screw holes where he was supposed to screw the unit back in. \r \r We thought the dishwasher rocked because the feet needed to be adjusted, which we did. But it wasn't right. It wants to fall out of the space every time we open the door! We finally had our contractor who had originally installed the dishwasher come in, he took a look and told us what had happened. We called Fred's and asked them to come out and fix this. After consultation with the ""Vice-President of the company"" they decided that they would come out but that we would have to pay for a service call and labor because the installation was out of warranty.\r \r That may be true, but a business that made a mistake and cares about keeping its customers would eat the service call fee to make them happy. The technician's incompetence caused this problem, and they should fix it if asked to do so--regardless of the time that went by. There should be no statute of limitations on admitting to your error and making it right. That's just good business practice. We will NOT be using Fred's again.\r more

We recently took delivery of a new range, Upon looking it over, found a button was missing. Called vendor which put us in touch with Fred's service. Had a great experience with Fred's. They were very responsive to the situation. They kept us informed all the way via the phone system. Tim arrived and was great. Would highly recommend them. He ordered the button and it arrived the next day and I installed it. Worked perfect. He did have to adjust the mount it went on while he was here. more

We are very happy with the service we received from Fred's Appliance. We called the people we bought our oven from and they could not help us unless we adjusted our schedule to their availability. Fred's gave us their next open spot and replaced the needed part in one trip. more

My repairman name was Brian, he was very helpful and courteous when he came to repair my dishwasher. He informed me of the problem and told me the cost and what he was going to do.. I told him that Whirlpool was going to extend me a courtesy and fix my appliance for free.. He told me that they had not sent them the invoice for that and he waited patiently while I got them on the phone, they gave him the proper information and he proceeded to fix my dishwasher...Well, one part was fix but he had to order a part, the part came on Monday and on Tuesday (today) he was here and my dishwasher is running like NEW...Thank You Fred's Appliance for sending someone that was so pleasant and efficient in repairing my dishwasher..I will recommend Fred's Appliance to family and friends...And thanks so very much Brian B.. more

Tim G. is was here at 0800 just as promised. Very prompt!\r \r He was a wealth of information and informed up of the following:\r \r He told us exactly what we needed to do to 'clean' the brushed stainless steel (which isn't true stainless steel, it only looks that way).\r \r It seems you need a 'softscrub' and a soft cloth to get the 'rust' (that's what it looks like) off the front of the appliance.\r \r Buyer beware when you buy a 'brushed stainless steel' appliance. It most probably isn't true stainless (stainless doesn't rust nor will a magnet adhere to it).\r \r Tim also informed of to replace the plastic water hose feeding the appliance with copper as the 'heat' from the appliance will eventually rot the plastic hose and you will come home to a kitchen floor full of water. We didn't know that either.\r \r Thanks for all the info, Tim G.! more

Luke is kind and courteous - as well as right on time. He knew to check the date on the warranty - because the date that it was installed is the date that the expiration is based on - not the date that you purchased it...so, it was under warranty! more
