Incoompetent and Unethical 10/22/2014

Mr Frain is clearly the most unethical and incompetent attorney I have ever come across. He took on a case for me that was quite simple and at most should have taken no more than 5-10 hours of work. He missed t dates for paperwork to the court and never returned my calls. I had to hire another attorney to fix the mess he created. On top of that he sent a bill for over 35 hours of work. He is now threatening to sue me for non-payment. more

Very Unethical 8/14/2012

Please make sure you research this attorney's past reviews on the internet and in the legal community. Mr. Frain has many issues of misleading the court and manipulating and intimidating others through anger to achieve his end. Numerous women and men have been victimized by this attorney and he does not care that he hurts children in custody cases. He should not be a family law attorney (or an attorney at all for that matter) and a formal investigation of his questionable practices was conducted by the Massachusetts lawyer licensing office. Buyer beware on this lawyer. more

One star is too much for Mr Frain. I agree with the other reviewers that his temper is horrible and his performance is terrible. I wish I had initially read his reviews. more

Poor Legal Work 4/6/2011

Attorney Thomas Frain has a lot of confrontational issues with other professionals. The legal work he does is fair at best. However, it is more his unethical behavior and propensity to charge for work not performed that is more disconcerting. There were many unflattering reviews of this attorney on this site about six (6) months ago that seem to have been deleted. My assumption is that someone did not want the public to know the truth about Attorney Frain. Please weigh your options carefully and ask other legal professionals about their opinions of Attorney Frain before you make the choice to hire him for any legal issue. more
