Rob and his crew were fast and NEAT! They dug out my gas line, replaced it PUT THE PLANTS BACK NICER THAN THEY WERE ORIGINALLY, and charged me a fair price. This is the second time I have had Four Star Plumbing out with the same professional, quick and NEAT experience. If you want cut-rate pricing and cut-rate sloppy work, call someone else. If you want quality work, by skilled professionals at a fair rate, call this Four Star Plumbing. Even the office staff is fantastic. If I could give them more stars, I would. They will be back to my house, for sure. more

My roommate and I moved in to a new apartment in San Clemente in August 2010. The place had no water connection to the refrigerator so after a search of different plumbers we stubbled upon Four Star by chance. Robert, the owner, showed up and took care of getting our new apartment set up with water. He was incredibly helpful and professional during the entire job. A few months later we had a clogged drain in our bathtub and a clogged drain at the Kitchen Sink. Robert again showed up and cleared both drains and fixed some broken piping underneath the sink. He also reinstalled our garbage disposal at no additional charge because it was not installed correctly. Not only was the service awesome but Four Star beat both Mike Diamonds quote and Roto Rooters quote. I would highly recommend Four Star and definitely trust the company and their employees. more

I would strongly suggest you disregard this review. What the author refuses to disclose is that there was no witness to the disappearance of the iPod. When we were contacted no firm details were given as to the accusation. We attempted to resolve the matter amicably but unfortunately the customer was unwilling. With no witness or proof neither the sheriff, the BBB, contractor's license board or ourselves were able to take action. The company does not accept any responsibility in this matter. An internal investigation was conducted and it was determined that without proof the matter nothing more could be done. We would also like to mention that this is the first and only occurence in which we were accused of theft. As a company that prides itself on top quality service and holds an A rating with the BBB we do all that we can for our customers. The customer confirmed the quality of the work was exceptional. This would explain why we have been servicing this property for over 15 years. In regards to the incident with the washer, we do the best to protect the property under the conditions we are given. It is our hope that you ignore this review and choose us for your plumbing needs. A quick search will show that we are a well loved company that does exceptional work. Well, I would NEVER use another plumbing company again after my first experience with Four Star Plumbing. The first time I used them, the owner Rob came out himself, I was terrified of cost and upset at the damage caused by a problem with my shower. Rob was calm, sweet, straight foward and put me at ease while he diagnosed the problem. He was neat and professional (he had to cut a hole in the ceiling...the drywaller said he never saw a plumber do such a neat job) at any rate, he really set me at ease and charged me a VERY fair price. What I thought was going to be a hardship turned into a great experience. I have since used his company for my small disasters and remodel projects always to find that they do a great job at a very fair price and don't come up with a bunch of unneccesary hidden fees. They also spend the time to explain what happened and why, so you can avoid a future problem. The office staff is so pleasant and happy to help with scheduling and billing. I've called 4Star Plumbing twice in the past few months, both times my toddler flushed toys down the toilet. The first time I had another plumber come out first - he snaked the toilet and wasn't able to get the toy, then said it would be $99 for the snake and another $400 to take the toilet off to get the toy out. I said no way and called 4Star. Rob & Manny were at my house within an hour and had it working properly within 30 minutes for no where near the $500 the other plumber asked for. I called 4Star again yesterday (same toddler, new toy) they came out and had it fixed in minutes. I wouldn't call anyone else! I totally trust 4Star in my home to get the job done right. I am power of attorney for an elderly uncle who lives in his own home in the Four Star Plumbing service area. His caregivers and I have called upon this company numerous times for repairs - and some replacements, too. I don't normally write reviews, but I just had a little plumbing emergency and went online to get the phone number for the ONLY plumbing company I would ever use or recommend and happened to notice the awful review that another customer had said. I have been using Four Star Plumbing for over 10 years and have referred countless people to them. All of them have thanked me for the great referral and been happy. They not only clean up after themselves which is often times not the case for any type of ""construction"" types, but are fast, honest, and affordable. The plumbers are always very nice and professional. The owner has done some work for me himself and is honest and very hard working, I can't imagine having anything bad to say about him or his company. I do believe they recently expanded and the service, well quite frankly is better than ever. Pros: Friendly, fast, clean, professional, affordable! Cons: None! more
