Good spa and good food 4/1/2007

We stayed here for my birthday recently and we both had a good time. I had a whole day at the spa with the master suite, which included a private table, bath, patio, fireplace, and bathroom and it was gorgeous! Our cottage had it's own private patio as well however we both feel the decor is hideous, the room as well as the bathroom. Room service was excellent, we tried almost all of their salads and their cocnut shrimp. A train does pass by several times in the night and the beds are not the comfy. A good overnight trip, but we probably won't go back. The Four Seasons of Beverly Hills is much, much better! Pros: Good room service, close to beach Cons: Bad decor more

Perfect Anniversary Weekend 3/28/2006

My husband and I recently spent our anniversary at The Biltmore and it was a beautiful weekend. We stayed in a cottage which was luxurious and private with the most comfortable bed ever. We actually considered buying the bed we slept so well! And we especially appreciated the 'mountain' of chocolate covered strawberries and champage sent to our room with a hand-written note from the manager wishing us a happy anniversary. The service was perfect and the staff could not be more helpful. My only complaint was with our experience at the hotel restaurant: Good food (which took forever) - just not great. Next time we visit this hotel, we will have dinner reservations at The Hungry Cat. One more thing: there is a train that passes by the hotel property and could be heard from our cottage. It wasn't that disturbing but you may want to ask about it when you make reservations. But we will be back! Pros: Dreamy beds, Perfect Service, Private Cons: Possible Train Noise more

Top notch 8/18/2002

I recently attended a wedding at the Biltmore and was impressed by several things. First, the service was great. From the lobby, to the room, everything was covered. They even had earpiece walky talkies to make sure all bases were covered. The food was fantastic. What I enjoyed the most was the view of the ocean during the outdoor ceremony. Hearing the waves crash as my family member said, "I do" was nice. more

Great at Sunset 7/17/2002

This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, the staff is courteous and their is a sense of luxury that permeates the air. The bar is cozy and is a great place for a cocktail and dessert at sunset. more
