Four Eyes Joke Shop

I ordered a child's costume Sept 15, and received an email confirmation that it would be sent. I still have not received the costume, and have received no response to emails. Now the site says the item is out of stock -- but I received an order confirmation! I have tried calling all numbers on the site and on other sites related to this shop -- everything is disconnected. A placed my order with these people on 16th of may 2009. On the 1ste of June I got confirmation that my order was ready and shipped. I used the tracking via the USPS site but after it reached The Netherlands it was shipped back to the States. I have called numerous times but all I get is the awnsering machine. In response to the negative reviews, in part they are acurate, but not completely. It is possible that one is made up, because Paypal is not enabled as a payment method that we accept though our site. Orders did come in that were ignored, but NO Credit cards were charged unless the order was shipped with delievery confirmation. Four Eyes Joke Shop is certainly NOT a front for taking peoples money and does NOT operate fraudulently. The statement that we stole an identity is outrageous & unfounded!\r \r What happened? Well, for years Four Eyes Joke Shop has had an excellent customer service record, getting shipments out on the same or next day of the order. Although, shortly after the New Year (2007) this changed due to significant and unexpected changes in my health. While I had diligently provided protection to our customers financial information, I did not adquately provide for the management of day to day operations or shipping. Looking back, I shoud have shut the website down, so as to avoid any and all disappointments due our failure to deliver. Again, NO credit cards were charge, nor was any money taken from anyone, including these that have placed a review - we simply did not ship the product/order.\r \r I am very sorry to have disappointed these folks, and anyone else that may have become concerned or disappointed. I do understand how they must have felt, and can only offer my sincere apology for this past weakness.\r \r As I return to the business after my own recovery, I now have begun the task of helping Four Eyes recover. This recovery will include safeguards from this every happening again. I am very disgruntled about this Joke Shop, which has apparently put the joke on us. I placed an order in February 2007 and as of yet have not received merchandise I purchased. At least it wasn't a lot of money, but after reading the reviews for FEJS I am concerned that my identity may have been compromised. SO BEWARE, this is no JOKE. Placed order. Got email confirmation with link. Nothing came. The link doesn't work. The phone numbers are disconnected. We called our credit card and cancelled the account because it looks like someone has used 4 eyes as a front to steal our identity. more

had a great time, to much to choose from , store clerks shocked me, squirted me, and it was lots of fun. found some great stuff that can not be found anywhere else that I know of, love it. Worth the trip. Only drawback, is that they are only open on weekends - then again, thats when I have time to shop.
