The employees that work for this company are very rude and are quick to transfer people to VM. Very rude and hard to get ahold of the actual person in charge.

Asphalt replacement is always a nightmare, but we had all our roads and driveways replace late summer. It was a dirty mess, but Foster Premier’s property manager organized the project in the least disturbing way possible. Everyone I know loves the new roads and driveways. The stamped asphalt is beautiful. I give Foster Premier 5 stars! more

I recently moved into a townhome. The association is managed by Foster Premeir. The property manager has been very helpful. She sent us a welcome letter with helpful information about paying assessment, garbage, homeowner activities and other things. She also provided us with her contact information and emergency after hours contact information. I am very pleased with Foster Premier. more

Great solution to a problem 4/5/2017

I have a dog and I always pick up after my dog when I walk her but I have notice that some don't. Fortunately, our property manager from Foster Premier, Ryan encouraged the Board to hire company to clean up after the dogs! What a fantastic idea. It is not too expensive but our community really looks great now. more

Over the years, Community Association Manager has been one of the most incredibly helpful, responsive and customer-focused representatives I’ve ever worked with in property management. My sister and I jointly own a unit —originally purchased by my parents in 1979--and will be closing on a sale at the end of this month. Throughout the process, she has been amazingly helpful and supportive with ongoing resources, referrals and common sense advice to manage the work we needed to do to prepare the unit for sale. At times, she has offered a degree of hand-holding, as well. more

Foster Premier has been the management company for my condo for years. Until recently, I have never had to call my property manager. Unfortunately, recently I had a leak from my roof. I can't say enough about how professionally this was handled. The roofer contacted me and came out and made the repair, Then the interior damage was fixed promptly. Thank you! more

these reviews are all too accurate, but after some checking found that their rating went from an "F" to an "A" in a couple of months because they became a paid BBB member. Management companies are hired by the Board, so the problem may be bigger than just Foster Premier. Yes, they are rude and unresponsive to residents, but they do as much as your Boards allow them to get away with! For all who have tried to deal with this company and can't get answers or actions, your best bet is to file a complaint with the attorney general, or the department of professional regulations. You can't deal with someone who doesn't want treat you with respect. more

WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY 8/26/2011

They do not deserve any stars, worst management company, they had been managing our 52 unit building, but had been charging for100 unit building, we finally kicked them and our Board that they had in their pockets and saved $78,000.00 per year by getting competitive bids. If your with them look outside the box and make sure your board is not in their pockets. more

Horrible and Unprofessional 6/9/2011

If you are looking for a new mgt co go look elsewhere. The owner Ron Foster is the most unprofessional business man I have ever met. The staff is lazy, asked for a request and received it 2 months later and unorganized. They just take your money and do absolutely nothing. They have lost several associations in the past few years including ours recently. That is probably why they are extremely expensive and do absolutely nothing for the communities. Ron always remember KARMA because what you dish out will come back at you. more

Expensive and Unprofessional 6/6/2011

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We have a 52-unit condo association in Buffalo Grove and we are paying in excess of $40/per unit per month to Foster Premier in management fees. This year we have removed our board of directors and started interviewing other management companies. Out of 10 that we have requested proposals from (giving them identical specs as in our Foster Premier contract), no company came close to half of what Foster Premier is charging us. In addition to the monthly management fee, Foster Premier also charges us for office expenses to the tune of $230/month. We still don't know why this charge is so high, when majority of our communications is done electronically via e-mail. We have asked our property manager and Mr. Ron Foster himself to explain office expenses to us, but we have not received a satisfactory answer. It seems like the figure is made up each month because Foster Premier is unable to provide any supporting documentation for it. Since we have given Foster Premier a 90-day termination notice, Foster Premier basically stopped responding to our requests. It now takes nearly a week and sometimes longer to get a response to a simple request. Our calls go straight to voice mail and the receptionist who was previously courteous and friendly is now curt and abrupt. more

If I could, I wouldn't even give them one star! These people harass you for money without any justifications except from the tips of the moronic neighbors (who is also the Board President and his miserable wife) who seem to have nothing better to do than to spy on people. I wish we never bought our townhome here because of the amount of time we have wasted calling to correct ridiculous charges against us AND for the tears I have shed from being frustrated by the harassment. more

Grove Drive Buffalo Grove IL. Foster Inc recently took over management responsibilities from McGill Management. Thought possibly a breath of fresh air may occur, nope. No need to get into the sordid details. Suffice it to say if communication is king, they are knaves. Mr. Foster conducted himself like a10 year old in our phone conversation and that was after three polite business like letters containing simple to follow requests were sent their way. Sad state of affairs for certain.. possible law suit pending on the matter as opposed to simple communication. more

Best and only thing they can do is subcontract to get law cut. I live in Reston Ponds in sycamore and they haven't provided grounds care from day 1. They never return calls or letters. Dead plants, no multch in over 5 years....yea!....ponds that are poorly treated, etc. Spread the word. They aren't deserving of 1 star. more

Bad: The lack of accountability for their mistakes and miscommunication. The lack of respect for unit owners. The property manager's decision to park in my unused parking spot when she visited the property without talking with me....how did I find out? I came home from work early one day to see a strange car in my spot. Was she renting that spot from me? No, so why was she parking there, like it's her spot!. Improvements: Some humility, a desire to serve the residents and perform work commensurate with their outrageous fees.. Other: I've now lived in 3 properties managed by them, and nothing has changed over the years. When I move again, the first question I will ask is who's managing and if it's FP, I'm out. They are disrespectful, greedy, and lazy.. more
