greatest experience… 6/2/2011

Our salesperson (Bibin) provided us with a great experience while we were shopping for the car. He was very understanding and patient with us. He accommodated our two little children during this process and was sensitive towards the needs of parents with young children. more

Excellent Service! 3/15/2011

The excellent service and courtesy I got from the sales person who did everything on the lease process, to make me comfortable on the lease process, he was patient spending the time that was necessary for me, and he was also very competitive working on the negotiation between the manager and me, to get the price that I think was better for me. more

Don't waste your time! 11/28/2010

Ft. Bend Toyota is one of the worst car dealerships I have ever been. Al Beck (sales person) was extremely rude, zero honesty ( I know they are sales people but come on!) Avoid him at all cost!!!!!\r Kept pushing stuff we did not want, and I got to tell you they have serious mathematics problems! (going from 6.9% interest rate to 1.9% on the same base price only change $10 in monthly payment??? really?) \r If you don't want to waste your time on stupid stuff like this, go to another dealership. Ft. Bend Toyota: PLEASE hire some respectful people preferably with some mathematics skills. Same day as I went to Sterling Mccall, 2 other couples showed up from your place complaining about your service and a rudness of your sales staff. Think about it! more

Great Place to buy and Service 2/1/2010

From the General Manager down to the Porters! This is a very friendly place to buy or service your vehicle! I service all five of my vehicles as well as several other family members. Parts,Service and Body shop have always gone out of the way to make everyone feel at home! Bruce Wertz, Sam and everyone up front seem to bend over backwards to please their customers. Great Place!! Pros: friendly atmosphere Cons: nothing that i could find more

Don't belive them in their Screaming Commercials ! 1/23/2010

""Thousands"" cars available ( they have maybe 100 new and 20 used ) They will not quote the bottom price, it is 'dancing' around . Very bad experience ! Cons: Screamming LIES more

Great service 11/19/2009

I have purchased 3 new Toyota vehicles from Fort Bend Toyota, I have them all serviced there on a regular basis. I have had EXCELLENT service experiances every time. I have also had the need to utilize their Collision Center for a bumper replacement. This repair was completed in 1 day. I dropped the vehicle off at 8 am and they had the bumper painted and replaced, ready for me to pick up at 5:30 the same day. My lease expires on my truck this spring, I will be replacing it at Fort Bend Toyota. Pros: Professional service, quick turnaround. more

Terrible Service 10/28/2009

This place is junk. I put my BMW for repair after accident. Obviously towing truck brought my car in this place and relatively I had no choice to move my car to another shop. Anyway I approved them to fix my car.\r \r Two months have passed and my car is still in this shop. They've never called me for update. Whenever I called them, they still say waiting for parts. One day they told me it would be done next Monday, and when I called back the day they mentioned, they say the same still waiting for parts.\r \r Even the employee in this shop is very rude. The person who is frustrated is me, not her. She got angry at me..... what the hell....\r \r Is there anyway we can sue this shop?\r more

Incompetent & Unprofessional 10/12/2009

Back in March of this year I was rear-ended while driving home from work. I had my vehicle, a 2008 Toyota Highlander, towed to the collision center of Fort Bend Toyota. It was estimated that the repairs would take 2 months to complete. After 4 months and my car still in the body shop, I went to Fort Bend Toyota and spoke to the General Manager, Pat Goldwait. I expressed my concerns about the lack of competence of the body shop and it's manager, Jerry Shapley. He told me he was going to talk with Jerry and call me that afternoon. He never called. Another month went by and I get a call from Jerry Shapley that my vehicle is repaired and ready to be picked up. My husband and I arrive and notice right away that the left side rear panel does not align with the left rear door, the rear hatch would not close and the spare tire was missing among many more miscellaneous flaws. The vehicle stays there another month while the poor workmanship is corrected. After 6 months in the body shop, I pick up my car and take it home. About a week later an Allstate appraiser comes to the house to do a final inspection on the vehicle. It was then discovered there were parts that Allstate had paid to be replaced that were never replaced. My car then goes back to Fort Bend Toyota's Collision Center to have those parts replaced and other failed repairs redone. Another month later Jerry Shapley calls and says the car is ready. Again, my husband and I arrive to pick it up and notice the rear hatch is not aligned with the left side rear panel or the rear bumper. We pointed it out to the Collision Center's manager, Jerry Shapley, and he said ""That's as good as it's going to get"". Unhappy with the repairs and his response, we walked directly to the dealership to speak with the General Manager, Pat Goldwait. He shakes our hands and we explain our frustrations. He then goes outside and inspects the vehicle. Without saying a word, he turns and walks to the Collision Center. A few minutes later, he literally runs out of the Collision Center and runs right passed my husband and I without saying anything to us. We go back into the dealership to find him so we can discuss the issue but he is no where to be found. That was 3 days ago. He has yet to contact us and I am sure he does not intend to. I just had my car appraised and it lost nearly 50% in value due to poor quality repair work performed by Fort Bend Toyota's Collision Center. You would think after 7 months in their shop they would have done it right. They definetely had the time! Cons: Everyhting more

Worst Car Buying Experience Ever 7/4/2008

This dealership doesn't know the concept or meaning of ""valued customer."" They act as if they could not care less if you purchase an automobile from them. I went in on a Thursday and let them know what I was looking for. The exact car I wanted was offered to me. However, it wasn't on their lot at the moment but could be gotten without delay as it was on a local lot. They took me through the time-consuming process of the trade-in appraisal and negotiations and promised the car would be delivered that afternoon.\r \r I went home and waited... and waited... and waited. No one called. By 5 pm I was concerned. I called them and they informed me the car was not there but was promised it would be there bright and early in the morning. The next day I waited again for the call. It never came. I called them at 11 am to check the status and the car still was not there and was not going to be there until, perhaps, Monday if at all. This was all conveyed with without a shred of regret or apology. I'm looking to another dealership now.\r \r Purchasing an automobile is a pretty big deal. It's not like buying a lawn mower. I have never felt my patronage (or my $40,000) to be so insignificant as I did the past couple of days. Take your business elsewhere if you want to feel good about making this major purchase because Fort Bend Toyota really don't care if you buy from them. Pros: Nice building with soda fountain and plenty of seating. Cons: zero customer service more

Bad Service 1/21/2008

I tried to purchase a car from this dealership. I was suppose to get a call the next day to know if I was to get the car. No one never called me. I tried several times to contact someone even leaving my cell phone number, but no one called back. I even called the sales manager, still no call back. These people are horrible. The salesperson didn't know anything about cars. She was some young chick who seem lost. Please, Please take your business somewhere else where they care. These people don't care about you or your business. Pros: the car was cheap Cons: Poor customer service. No follow-up with the customer. more

Horrible Customer service 10/17/2007

DO NOT buy a used car from here. I bought a ""certified"" used highlander back at the end of June that my wife drives. Shortly after we moved up to Richmond, VA. On the way up I noticed a slight shaking when I braked. My wife stated that it was always there and that she thought it was normal. We took it to the toyota dealership in Richmond and was told the rotors were warped and that they should have caught the problem when they certified it and because it was just out of the 3,000 mile mark, (the drive to Richmond was at least 1,000), they need an okay from the dealership that I got the vehicle. I then called Alex Rodriguez, the used car manager at Fort Bend Toyota. He was not helpful at all and even accused me of doing the damage myself. I told him that another dealership is telling me that you missed it and you don't honor that? He then told me to let the service manager at the Richmond dealership to call his service manager ""Rick Howell."" The richmond dealership and myself tired for 2 days to get in touch with Rick or Alex, but they never responded to numerous messages. They didn't have the common courtesy to call anyone back. Now I have to fix a problem that should have been caught when it was ""certified"". In short, Fort bend toyota forgets you when you leave the lot. They don't return phone calls or even believe what other toyota dealerships say. On the other hand , McGeorge toyota in Richmond did all they could to help and were very professional. Pros: got a good price Cons: Forget about you when you leave the parking lot and don't do a good job when they ""certify"" the car more
