They were extremely easy to deal with. Very competitive on price as well. Follow-up was excellent. They provided a helpful guide for how to take care of the plant. There work was done quickly and cleanly. My neighbors really appreciate the work that they did because my yard used to be a disaster area. more

We contacted FONTAINE LANDSCAPING at our previous home in Cary, (at that time we were using a different company for our landscaping maintenance); we were prompted to contact them because a neighbor used FONTAINE and their landscaping maintenance, (lawn/shrubs/flowers), was always meticulous and envied. Kevin Fontaine himself came to our property and provided us with an estimate for our landscaping maintenance. Their contract is beyond professional; you pick and choose what you want them to do and pay only for services you want. Our landscaping soon was also the envy of the neighborhood. We moved to Morrisville a year or so after we contracted with FONTAINE in Cary. We built our home in Morrisville, (Preston Grande), and regret not getting an estimate from FONTAINE for our complete landscaping install project here. We had another landscaping group, (we thought we had a good relationship with), bid and do our job, (that group had done an excellant job correcting problems at our home in Cary and we felt sure we would once again get quality work). FONTAINE, after several attempts by the original landscaping company, has addressed and corrected all problems we were having and to date all problems have not re occurred. We ,of course, had to pay FONTAINE to correct our issues, but it was definitely worth it. Our problems were addressed and professionally dealt with from the first meeting till the last. CODY, (supervisor), was always on time for every meeting and made sure the job was done as promised. The crew was always clean and courteous and never left a mess! We, of course, also use FONTAINE here at our current address for all our maintenance and they continue to do an excellant job. If something is missed all we do is send an email and it is taken care of IMMEDIATELY. A testament to their quality; four of our neighbors are also using their services, (after seeing their work here at our house). KEVIN FONTAINE and company offers customer service beyond compare!! I would like to thank Fontaine Landscaping for creating a wonderful new look to our home. We have struggled for years to maintain a yard that received little sunshine and defied all attempts to improve. Fontaine suggested a total re-thinking of our space and referred us to a landscape designer who substituted paver walkways and a terrace where grass had failed. Fontaine professionally installed the hardscapes, and replaced all old plantings with shade tolerant hydrangea's, nandina's, gardenia's and other vibrant shrubs and plants. A low cost drip irrigation system was added to protect our investment. The installation crews were experienced and knowledgeable and were most helpful when questions arose. We would highly recommend this company to anyone seriously looking to improve their property. It was a pleasure working with Fontaine Landscaping and we have the yard to prove it! I just had my back yard done (creating natural walls and put done irrigation systems) by Fontain, and they did a very good job, Cody is the contact person there and he is very helpful, on time for the appointments and answering all the questions that I have. Nice follow up as well after the work was done. I will highly recommend them. more

We are completely satisfied with the services of Fontaine Landscaping. We have been in the Triangle for more than 10 years and have used several different landscaping companies. Fontaine has done a wonderful job, not only maintaining the lawn and keeping it nicely cut, but they have down a fantastic job in landscaping. The flower beds are gorgeouse and very well kept, along with the big flower pots around the house. I absolutely love the plant/flower combinations used in our yard. more

Late for appointment twice after a no-show the first time. Talked about some ideas but they overlooked a very basic point that affected the whole design. I couldn't trust judgment after that. Look elsewhere. Pros: free estimate Cons: not knowledgeable more

Fontaine has been taking care of the Chatsworth sub divisions landscaping for a number of years now. In my dealings with Kevin and Steve I have found them to be very easy to work with. They do quality work and are open to feedback from our landscaping committee. Recently Fontain re-worked the hedges at our main entranceways creating a much more apppealing look. They have also been proactive in recommending drought tolerant plants to survive periods of limited irrigation. I highly recommend them more

Fontaine's Landscaping is a great company to deal with. They do what they say they are going to do WHEN they say they are going to do it! I called a number of companies, who sometimes showed up, who sometimes followed up...but, Fontaine's was truly a profressional company to deal with. From quote to installation - they were really top notch. I had them grade our yard, put in mulch and seed. I will definitely use their services again. Our consultant Cody was just incredible. After the first work was done a few very minor things were not how we thought we have requested them. Typically we would understand if we didn't do a good enough job of conveying what we wanted, after all, we're not the landscaping experts. In fact, we hadn't paid him to do these things as they weren't in the proposal but someone we had miscommunicated. So is life. What isn't normal is what happened next. Cody was back at our house the next morning after we emailed him to mention our concerns. Everything was done to our liking the next day for no extra fee and with no complaints and no delay. It was simply a perfect experience. The work they did looks great and our neighbors congratulate us on it every day. We had Fontaine landscape our front and back yards, including a circular paver patio, outdoor lighting, new plants, mulch, etc. Cody was our project manager and he did a superb job - he was always around and available to answer questions, respond to concerns, or to come out and tweak something that we wanted adjusted. Pros: Project management, quality control, easygoing people, good communication Cons: You always pay more for high quality service and good project management, but the end result is worth it more

Very prompt to follow-up with communication regarding the job. They built a 40 foot long stacked flagstone retaining wall that turned out great! The job site was left as it was found and cleaned up very well. They follow up after the completion of the job to make sure the customer was satisfied. Great customer service! more

I contacted about seven or eight landscaping companies to build a paver patio. Out of the eight calls only one called back and showed up on time for the quote - it was Cody Ames from Fontaine Landscaping. We were among Kevin's earliest clients and have never, ever been disappointed by their performance. Fontaine teams mow, prune, plant, design, seed and fertilize, remove leaves and control pesky insects and fungi. They even clean up after storms. The workers are fast, friendly, neat and thorough.
