I recently went to Fogo de Chao for the first time. I have always heard great things about the restaurant. While, I'm glad that I went and got to experience the service and food they provided, for me it was not worth it. First, I'm not a huge red meat eater. Secondly, I can't pack that much food away making the experience kind of costly. The salad bar is nice but not what I expected. Bread, cheeses, and marinated veggies are readily available. As far as the meat, I found the tastiest one was the picahna (I believe they stated this was their house specialty or a popular one). I had never had lamb before and that too was tasty. As for the other meats I didn't think they had very much flavor. The service however was impecable. There are so many attentive waiters. As I stated before, this was my first visit and they explained how the meat service worked (red and green sided card) but even when our cards were turned to red (stop meat service) if the server saw us eye something they would offer it to us. We paid over $200 at lunch for 3 people, however we each had our meal, a glass of wine, a dessert, plus a 25% tip.
Pros: Service
Cons: Can be costly
