BEWARE!!! I have used Flynn's Tire exclusively for the last year and after my last visit for an inspection I was told I needed new brakes. Instead of paying them $200 for new brake pads I traveled to my fathers to do it myself and while changing the pads I noticed oilly dirt around the area of the CV Boot. Upon closer inspection I found a cut between the ribs on my CV Boot. The boot itself is soft and supple, indistinguishable from the look and feel of new rubber, and the hole is clearly a smooth cut, as would be expected when cutting rubber with a utility knife. Upon bringing this to the attention of the manager Mike he adamantly refused that any of his guys would do such a thing. If it was not cut by one of their mechanics I would expect that they would have informed me of the clearly visible grease covering the area but nothing was said. It is clearly an attempt to cause the far more expensive problem of a bad CV Joint which would cost significantly more to repair in the future. Even if it was not cut, which I doubt completely, why would they not have informed me of a problem with the boot before it turned into a much larger problem? In either case I have absolute certainty that this shop cannot be trusted. BEWARE!!!
