My insurance company brought Floors By Design to my attention first. Even though I had dealt with a competitor of theirs before, I ended up going with Floors By Design because they were 2-3 cheaper than my normal person. They were always on time, excellent to talk to and they usually left things clean before they left. One time, they something was left off and I called the boss and told him and he sent someone right back out lickety-split to fix it, which they did. And everything was fine. However, when it came time to put the tile down, they had taken off the baseboards and the tile was thicker than they had thought so it was running into the shelf brackets. They came up with a Mickey Mouse solution and bent the brackets to make the tile fit. I had to hire a contractor to come in and saw off the brackets. That's why I gave the four rating. Otherwise, it was a good experience and I'd use them again as long as they keep their prices competitive. more

I went in to Floors By Design looking for a kitchen and bathroom solution. They were more than helpful and friendly. I picked out one type of flooring, then a few days later they called back and said that after they had measured the floors there would be two slices that would be seen, and it would be best to pick another design. I heeded their recommendation, and the floor is beautiful! Other places would have just gone ahead and put it in, because it's what you ordered, but Floors By Design was very helpful in their recommendation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody else, not even for a moment! more

Floors By Design did a really nice job. Every time I called them they answered every question. It was my first time using them, and they did the kitchen and hallway floors in a laminate. The guys worked well. The floor looks really nice. We really like the coloring and everything. more

The installation was excellent. I got their name from someone I work with, and I would have otherwise never heard of Floors By Design. The gentleman who came out looked over the situation and provided input and feedback about what I might like. He was a very nice person and very professional. I then went to their business place to pick out some samples myself. And they only think that was a little different is that I received no contact after that point. But, I spoke to someone who knows them personally, and they got the ball rolling again. The installation and quality of the work was excellent, but getting them to service me was not as smooth as it could have been. Lynn Allen more
