Flash Electronics

I have a Samsung 46"" TV that the capacitors on the power board went out. This is a common problem with Samsung. Other TV repairs places wanted as much as $400.00 to come out and replace the board. I took the board to Flash Electronics and he replaced the capacitors while I waited. Fast and extremely reasonable. You can't beat Flash. I would reccommend them to anyone. more

I had a 42"" Insignia TV that was struck by lighting thru the cable and would not come on. I took this to another TV repair service and after two weeks he told me he could not find the part and would not refund me my money that was for an estimate on the repair. I picked up my TV and Called Flash Electronics. He came and picked up the TV and delivered it when fixed for the price of the repair. He had this TV fixed and returned to me within a week. I had occasion to have Tom, the owner, take care of my HD television problem. He diagnosed the problem without even seeing the television. I was able to bring it to his store, he unloaded it for me and even provided me with a loaner even though I diidn""t ask for one. \r He completed the repair in 48 hours that included getting the electronic high voltage board from an out of town source overnight. \r When he described the board I was expecting to see a large bill, however when he presented me with the bill it was barely more than most TV repair shops charge just to give you an estimate.\r The TV works better than the day I brought it home. I have a 52"" Mitsubishi Dlp was going bad and I call Flash Electronics llc to set up an appointment to get my Tv fix. The first thing they ask what wrong with my DLP TV. I told them that the LED light keep blinking and they told me to reset and tell them what happen after the reset. I told them that My DLP TVstill doing the same thing, the LEd light still keep blinking none stop. They told me that they need to bring in to the shop for diagnostic it have a very good chance that the chassis was bad. They come out and pick up my DLP TV in the morning and by the end of the day they told me that my DLP TV have a bad Chassis.They ask me if I stillhave the extented warranty, I told them no. They told me that it will cost about $525 dollar to fixed it. I told them that I don't that kind off money to fix my DLP TV. They told me not to worry, let them talk to Mitsubishi customer relation if they can help me with the part and they charge me only labor. After two day they call me back and indeed Mitsubishi is helping me with the part and Flash Electronics charge me only $175 in labor instead of $250 in Labor. I had taken my TV and DVD player there and i thought they were both goners. Someone had knocked over my stand in my apartment one night at a party and they would not start back up. When i finally decided to purchase a flat panel unit for my home my first thought was where to look. Usually when making transactions that involve large buys I try to go where I'm familiar with the people. Having known Tom for about six months through work, I came to him looking for a 42"", Panasonic television and was more than pleased with how he helped me. Firstly he took the trouble to seek out several options i might be interested in, taking time to print them out and give me details on each one. Then while i was deciding he stayed in touch with me, making sure I wasn't confused over anything. Finally i made my choice and relayed the information to him. From there on he took care of everything, including bringing the unit to the downtown cleaners location that i see him at every morning, there by making it easier on me to pick it up. I've had the television now for seven months and haven't experienced and problems. I was have a problem with my Samsung LCD TV. I call Flash Electronics and explain to the what the problem was and them the tell me what to do over the phone to do a self diagnosis my TV before the came out. Once I done with the test the problem still their . They tell me when I will be available, so the can send their technician over. One their technician came over and the diagnosis the problem and they tell me straight up front how much it will cost to fix my TV. Once I give them the thumb up to fix it.
