First time visit with my family. This was on a Friday night and the place had several tables available when we fist walked in. we were seated and offered drinks. Our server took our order about 15 min later. We ordered the soup, rice, egg rolls, chow mein, and sesame chicken for 4 of us and chicken and fries for my youngest. The soup arrived at different times for each person (my oldest had to wait for a fresh batch). Our main courses arrived with my youngest daughters first, about 15 min later me and my wife received ours, and 10min later my other 2 daughter received theirs. Nobody liked their food and we asked for the check at once, talked to the manager (which agreed with my problems), paid the bill minus a whole 10% of a $50.00 bill and left with every plate still full on the table. I will never return and I will never recommend to anyone. more

I have been going here for years. I also go to the one in downtown SLC a lot, too. The Roy one was sold a few years ago, and the SLC was sold too, and they are both owned by different people than the mother and son that originally owned them, but they both still carry the same menus and the food is superb. I am half Thai myself, and grew up eating Thai food that my mom cooked, and this place comes closest to that. I have eaten at plenty of other Thai places from Ogden down to West Jordan by south Salt Lake, and this place is by leaps and bounds my favorite. Recommended dishes....Yum Nua(beef salad), Cowpot (Combination fried rice), and eggrolls (the fried ones with meat in them). Also try the sweet sticky rice dessert with mango slices O.o...You cant go wrong with those :) Pros: Authentic Thai Cuisine, try the eggrolls! Cons: Decor, lack of parking spots more

This is a fantastic restaurant for Thai. Hard to remember you are in Ogden Utah. The owners are Thai, and take great pride in the food prep, but even greater pride in the taste. The food is easily comparable to good Thai restaurants in some major cities in the US like Dallas, Phoenix, Kansas City, even San Fransisco and Vancover. It is easy to relax with friends and family or entertain quests. not pretentious at all . Prices are very good. \r Try the #32 #36 and #38 if I remember right. I live out of the State of Utah, always look forward to 5 STAR more

This place is easy for down town office workers, but there are much better choices in Salt Lake City...\r service was quite poor and server did not know Thai food very well... a lot of greasy dirt on the floor, silverware was dirty, and bathroom was not clean either... so if it is this way where you can see, what do you think the kitchen is like? pass on this Thai place!!! i have been goin there for years and everytime i go with my family we are always pleased and never let down, service was great, the food is excellent. we don't go to any other places because everything we need is there: delicious thai food at a great price and chinese and kids meals for the kids. i highly recommend 5 star for anyone who wants to be pleased Pros: food, services, accomodations Cons: can't think of one more

5 Star is the best--I've eaten here many times, and it's always really good for both lunch and dinner! A great menu, with a wide range of Thai and Chinese dishes. Excellent customer service, with helpful menu suggestions from the wait staff. Very nice decor, and always terrific food. \r Take out is also great, and quickly prepared for phone orders or walk-ins. Just off I-15 in Roy, and well worth the drive up from SLC! Pros: Food quality more

Great food, we have tried all the thai food restaurants around and this is by far the best for food, the owner and her son are very personable and their staff is always friendly. We love that they serve chinese food also, thai is to hot for the kids so we can all go out together and all enjoy dinner. more

Been going to this place since their Roy store opened 6 years or so ago, so when they opened one Downtown SLC, We had to try it. This is definetely the place you want to go to actually enjoy your Thai Dining. Very informative servers, good modern-asian decor, and their excellent food are all plus's. We don't do their Chinese cuisine, other than the Dumplings, just because the Thai is sooo good. So, when you compare this location to their Roy one, it carries much more of an ambiance, where as the Roy one is more home town diner, with ""GRANDMA"" in the kitchen(which is what everyone calls the owner). You won't be dissappointed in either location. The food is excellent. Pros: Great Food, Knowledgeable Servers, Reasonably Priced Cons: Downtown SLC, Very busy lunches, closed on Sundays more

This is a good place for thai food. The decor isn't anything to brag about but their food is excellent. Try the pad thai or the pad siew. Very delicious. However, the owner will talk your ear off but you can't have everything perfect. Pros: food Cons: decor more
