These guys arrived 30 minutes later than expected. We were charged a $75 service charge for them coming "after hours," which was supposed to be 4pm even though they didn't do any...

This last time Fivestar Plumbing Company worked on our shower. They came right out, got the fixtures installed, and even fixed a few other things while they were out here. One morning we woke up and one of the dogs had broken an outdoor faucet and we had a stream flowing through our yard, so they got out and fixed that for us also. They've always been real prompt and professional and gotten everything fixed. We've used them for a couple years on different occasions. They've done a really good job for us. more

I'd give Five Star Plumbing TEN stars if I could! 7/23/2013

Five Star Plumbing's customer service dept bends over backwards to try to find a visit time that works with your own busy schedule. The service tech always show up within 10 minutes of the time they say they will. They call ahead to give you a warning and once they get onsite they hop to it. They find the most effective AND most cost-efficient way to solve the problem and are very forthcoming with options, information, costs, etc. Their prices are very reasonable and their service staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd particularly love to send kudos Shawn's way. He has taken care of my home twice now and done an excellent job both times. AND - he is even so professionally courteous that he takes his shoes off at my front door before entering the house - and I didn't even have to ask. :-) more

They were outstanding. 7/11/2013

They actually arrived when they said they would arrive, down to the minute. When they showed up they had neat, pressed shirts with the company logo on it. There was an older gentleman, who had been doing this line of work for around 30 years, and he was accompanied by a younger gentleman. They immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 15 minutes. I asked if they would look at some other plumbing in the basement and give me some idea of a re-plumbing cost, or where I should start. They took the time to do that and gave me some good advice, and we are going to use them to re-plumb the house. I live in a small town and we don't have a lot of options for service professionals, but in the 6 years I've lived here they are by far the best I've encountered. more

Late and expensive 5/22/2013

These guys arrived 30 minutes later than expected. We were charged a $75 service charge for them coming "after hours," which was supposed to be 4pm even though they didn't do anything. So, it was $75 for an estimate after hours. They quoted a price of $425-$495. I said no thanks, and called around. The VERY NEXT plumber I called quoted a price of $168 with no other fees. RESPONSE FROM Fivestar Plumbing Company: Mrs. Elliott, We would like to apologize for the misunderstanding. We felt we had thoroughly explained that the after hours service charge would be more than usual for scheduling an appointment so late in the day. The extra charge was approved over the phone before the appointment was scheduled. We like to make our customers happy and we are not happy if you are not happy. Good service but did not follow through 3/12/2013

Fivestar Plumbing Company helped me with a shower faucet. The plumber was able to fix the problem but said one of the parts was wearing out and would eventually leak. He did not have the new part and took a picture of it, to help him look around for it. He was supposed to check on that and get back to me, but he never did. more

I had Fivestar Plumbing Company come out to my house on two occasions. I had them come out once to repair a leaking water pipe and once to fix a leaking toilet. They have been communicative and the time the plumber was late, he called to let me know. more

Above and Beyond Service 1/24/2013

Fivestar Plumbing Company was very helpful. A technician came out within a couple hours of me calling. He did a through examination of what my problem was and fixed both, the stopped up toilet and the stopped up sink. more

Good, and brief 1/2/2013

We had an emergency, and they came out the same day, and took as long as it took to find the problem. It was a pipe that had burst and had tree roots grown into it. They fixed the problem to stop the leak, but told us it wasn't the final fix, and that it could happen again. They quoted the definite fix price, and gave us some helpful advice on how to prolong needing this fix. more

Speedy and will match cheaper quotes if asked 12/3/2012

I called four different plumbing companies, the day my water heater went out. Fivestar was the first to arrive and diagnose the issue, unfortunately, the tank had to be replaced and Fivestar was a little higher than another company that was offering a larger storage tank, I asked Fivestar if they could meet, or at least come close, to the other company using the 50 gallon tank instead of the 40 gallon tank. Fivestar came within a few dollars of the other company and got the business because they were the first to arrive. Work crew was professional and got the job done in a little over an hour. more

We are so happy to finally get rid of our water hammer problem! Joe came out and did a FANTASTIC job! He was knowledgeable, honest, helpful, and he knew exactly what we needed!
