Dr. Fitzgerald 2/14/2012

Everyone is very friendly at Southlake Psychiatry. Dr. Thomas Fitz has been the only one Doctor who diagnose me correctly. Previously I had gone to see 3 Doctors. He is considered one of the TOP Psychiatrists in the state of NC. If you give Dr. Fitzgerald a chance, he will help you. He is very knowledgable in everything. Go to the best Doctor for mental health. Live and learn. more

As a whole I Like this group 8/22/2011

The office staff is very friendly as long as you are friendly to them. Barry Berolette N.P. is a little scattered some days but he really does try to help and do his best. Dr. Fitzgerald is kind but he is a little bit of a hippy at heart which I LIke. My brother did have a bad experience he forgot his appointment they called him when he was late. I thought that was nice instead of charging him a late fee. He was angry because he had to rush and leave work and Barry has supposedly written his presciption wrong twice, but I have been seeing Barry & Dr. Fitzgerald longer and I have never had a problem. The office staff is easy going once again as long as you are nice to them. I do like the group as a whole and would recommend them. more

Southlake Psychiatry - Barry Bertolette 11/24/2010

I am so angry with this doctor and the office people. Twice Barry Bertolette, the NP, has written my prescription wrong. The first time he prescribed a medication for me, I began to have severe side effects. I called the office and the receptionist, very hatefully, told me to stop taking it if it was making me feel bad! It is dangerous for a receptionist to tell a patient to stop taking a med. This week, he was supposed to call in a new medication for me, and when I got to the pharmacy, he had not called it in. When I called the office, he wasn't there, and I was told that he would be back the next day. When I called the next day, he wasn't there. I asked the receptionist if she could call him since they would be closed the rest of the week for Thanksgiving. She was very rude to me and hung up on me 3 times. I need my medication. I paid him $75 to have a 5 minute phone conversation with him and this is what happens??? I would NEVER recommend this group to anyone, in fact the medical board needs to look into them! more

Awesome Psychopharmochologist. Knows his stuff! 9/18/2006

Very professional, but also very warm and caring. Very knowledgeable about different diseases. Doesn't rush you in and out but He Listens and takes his time with you. He knows the area and offers referrals. The office is very attractive, which gives you a nice feeling of going there. They play nice classical music in the background. It is expensive, but he works with insurance and it's definitely worth the money. Your mental health is just as important as your overall being! more
