Great place for sea food 11/30/2006

The great view and even better food is the best thing about the fish hopper. They have the best ocean view and the best appetizers ever. We were so hungry that we just kept ordering. The place was crowded and it did take time for them to get our orders but we dont blame them since there were so many people and everyone was having such a great time. The Fish Hopper - Local Seafood Restaurant 10/18/2006

This is a fun locally owned and operated restaurant located right on Cannery Row. It’s right on the Bay so you can look out and enjoy the ocean view during the daytime while you enjoy your meal of award winning clam chowder or fresh seafood (they have other entrees if you are not into seafood or have a picky eater in your group). If you’re looking for a romantic restaurant to share a pleasant dinner they have an indoor fire pit and fireplace to warm up the sea air – they also have the coast by the restaurant lit with lights so you can watch the waves crash below you. We had our infant with us and they were very accommodating. more

My favorite restaurant on Cannery Row! Great seafood, geat staff. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service you get. They also sell their clam chowder in cans and ship it anywhere in the US. more

Great but a little pricey 9/7/2005

Our first meal in Monterey, CA was at the Fish Hopper. Amazing view of the Monterey Bay and the Fisherman's Warf. Great food. Great atmosphere. Heat lamps (a must due to the cool climate). The prices were a bit high. Definitely touristy pricing. more
