First View Ultrasound 3d & 4d Ultrasound

My husband and I brought our mothers in on Saturday so that we could all see the baby and learn the gender together. We could not be more thrilled! We had not been able to learn the gender durring the ultrasound at my OB's office because the legs were crossed and were dying to know. Our tech was very skilled and found her little girl parts right away and then got the most amazing pictures of her face. more

My Mom found out about this place from someone at her work and got us a gift certificate for my partner's birthday. We are so glad she did! At first, I was really nervous about this but once we got there they made me feel so at ease. I will never forget the first time I saw my baby's face. She smiled and stuck out her tounge! I was moved to tears. My partner said that it was the best birthday present ever. These guys really did a nice job for us. Scheduling the appointment was a little difficult trying to find a time that we could get in we had to wait a week to wait a week longer than we wanted because they were booked up but it was worth the wait. Our tech was very knowlegeable and explained things really well which we appreciated because our ultrasound at the Dr's office wasn't so great. But we could really see her and now we are sure she is a girl which is good because we already have so much pink. Now we can start concentrating on a name for her. We LOVE this! Thanks Mom!! My husband and I are expecting our third kiddo and we have now been to First View to see each one of them. Each time we go my husband always says how it helps him feel more connected to the pregnancy. We treasure the photos and our parents can't wait to see them every time. We always ask for Todd to be our technician. He is a great guy and we have enyoyed getting to know him over the years. He is very skilled at getting the baby to cooperate and you can tell that he loves his job. You can be sure that if we have another baby, we'll be back. I went in thinking that this would be a great experience where I would get to see my baby before I see her in person. She was ""hiding"", and would not show her face so the ultrasound tech, who is not a doctor, nurse or even a person with medical training proceeded to poke, shake, and even slap my stomach, ""trying to get a shot."" It was awful. I had people with me, so I felt pressured to just lie there and take it. At one point he even had me do an inverted yoga move to try to get the baby to move. We paid almost $200 for this ""service"" and I felt like this tech could care less about how I was feeling, or whether he was hurting the baby. It was a total rip off, and I felt like a ride at Disney Land that was supposed to preform some special display for everyone. My stomach was sore for hours afterward, and after all the prodding and shaking he did of my belly, the baby just curled up more. NOTHING was clear on the screen. It was very blurry and I barely saw the heartbeat. I had a better picture at 8 weeks pregnant than 6 months. I will never go back there, and I would strongly deter anyone else from going there. What is even worse is that the tech was very sick with an awful cold and he kept sneezing and coughing on me. He did not even cover his mouth. This is a person that works with pregnant women all day and he actually came to work sick! This place was terrible. And I got his cold, so now I am at work, miserable from this $200 disaster over the weekend. BUYER BEWARE Cons: Rip off, painful, terrible more

I as well as a close friend both went to First View Ultrasound. She had referred me there because she was very satisfied with the overall experience. I did however go to another place for the 3D ultrasound with my first pregnancy however I was not as satisfied with the quality of the pictures nor the overall experience as I was with the ones I received at First View. The clarity of the pictures at First View was amazing! I also felt very comfortable there and felt like I could ask questions without hesitation. I also was very satisfied with the fact that everything was pointed out to me and explained very well! I was also very appreciative of the fact that my ultrasound technician was sure to make sure that I was satisfied with my experience, something I did not receive the first time around unfortunately. Pros: Quality of pictures, very personable tech in which I felt very comfortable with, made sure I was staisfied! Cons: Really cant think of any to be honest with you! more

We really had a great time at First View. What a Godsend! My husband is a Sgt in the US Army and deployed to Iraq. I called to schedule an appointment to get a 3D ultrasound so we could send the images of our little one to him. I was excited to learn that they could set it up so that he could watch the ultrasound live on the internet. He loved it! He said that he really felt like he was back home with us for a little while afterward. He had been missing us so much and this really helped him. He logs on daily and watches again and again. I will be going back for another ultrasound in few weeks so that he can se her again when shes a little bigger. I highly recommend this experience to anyone! Pros: Relaxing Atmosphere, family friendly, great folks Cons: none! Will use First View for all my kids more
