First Place Management has been very good and very nice to me. If something happens around the house, they send someone right away. Sometimes, with my income, I can't turn in the ...

Hard to get a reply to questions. Feel extremely rushed on the phone. Dont feel kept up to date with my property.

They seem to do well taking care of the month to month needs. The only time we asked them for help it was like pulling teeth to get photos of the house so that we could insure with another company when Allstate pulled out. more

Overall, our experience with the complany is satisfactory. 2/11/2012

Some employees are easy to contact and communicate with, but others are not. The office seems understaffed at times, possibly due to restricted budget. The property manager is very willing to work with us to solve problems. Most employees seem to have a positive attitude and friendly personalities. more

oppose your leasing fee with repeat renters 2/8/2012

I would whole-heartedly recommend First Place Management, except for the $400 plus leasing fee, tag on top of the monthly management fee when, in my case, I've had the same renters for years. It has changed my view of your company. I suggest you waive it when tenants have been in a rental home for a number of years. more

Average, but expensive 2/7/2012

This is one of the higher cost property managers, and for the money they still nickel and dime you to death. I would prefer to receive my rent buy a specific date, but that is not always thew case. And if/when a tenant is late, they do not enforce the late payment charge to the tenant. Also they never itemize repairs, nor do they contact youfor approval. They just charge it and you may not receive anything. And If a tenant renews their lease, they still charge youfor legal fees, even though an attorney never actually reviews and signs the lease. They are out there for the money and money alone. more

I owned property managed by another firm and First Place took them over many years ago.They keep getting better on their own. I would be pleased to reccommend First Place Management in the Jacksonville and Beach areas. more

I previously dealt with a large management company that cost me thousands because of poor service. I was so happy to get First Place Mgt. They are consciencious, thorough, fair, and a pleasure to deal with. more

Extremely responsive to both me as owner and my tenant when services are needed. 2/7/2012

My unit had structural damage causing moisture buildup. Brenda Needham was a jewel in tending to my elderly tenant's concerns. Conducted an environmental study to support successful law suit against developer. more

Crooks Dont Rent From Them !!! 1/25/2012

WE RENTED FROM THEM FOR 2 YEARS , NEVER LATE ON RENT, WAS EFT FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. THEY FIGURED THEY WOULD GET EVEN WHEN WE DECIDED TO MOVE OUT AND FILED A BOGUS CLAIM AGAINST OUR DEPOSIT, WE PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED THE CARPET , TOOK PICTURES AND VIDEO OR EVERYTHING, THEY CHARGED US FOR ITEMS WE ASKED THEM TO FIX MONTHS PRIOR TO US MOVING . more
