I Love 1st Choice!!! Pros: best products at the best prices Cons: they dont do additions more

Buyer Beware!!!! Stay away from this company unless you like stress and being lied to!!! The worst company we have ever dealt with. Everyone seems very nice but they were caught in numerous lies..they do not return phone calls...show up late if they show up at all...windows took forever to be made...workmanship is horrible... I could go on forever, so learn from our mistake and stress.\r \r 34 complaints listed for this company in the last 12 MONTHS. Check it out for yourself at the better business. I would not have work done again by them even if they did it for free. Cons: Too much to list more

The worst company you can ever dream deal with ,,,, please ,,please ? do not get in business with these AH ??they don?t do there work , they lie , they don?t honor contract , takes forever to finish job ?no call backs from any after contract is signed , no commitment to costumer whatsoever, no costumer service ?very unprofessional , I would never ?never deal with them even for free price ?simple there is no words to describe them ,,,nightmare ? more

Salesman, installer, and general manager were all very polite and friendly. They did my roof quickly and were in and out in one day.\r Unfortunately the good comments end there.\r The clean up job was terrible. nails and shingles left all over the place. i spent my christmas morning cleaning up after them. garbage, tape, drink bottles, etc. etc.\r Pieces of my downspouts were removed and not put back on, parts of the gutters were left hanging off and continunally slammed against my house when the wind blew. The finish on my deck was completely ruined because they dragged garbage and nails across it without covering it. \r After my complaints, they came back to finish the cleanup job and did an ok job, but still left many things unattended. It's been three weeks now and the cleanup is still not done. All the debris and nails that were left in my gutters are now probably clogged in my downspouts. One of my drain pipes that goes along the ground was shattered as they dragged heavy garbage across it. That hasn't been fixed. An endcap on the gutter right above my front porch was removed and is now missing so water drains right on my front step and freezes making a nice ice patch.\r I took photos and sent the general manager a thorough packet of the problems but have not heard from him since. \r I'm very frustrated with this company. I have a feeling that part of the issue was that my roof was done around the holidays which caused scheduling issues, but it's now January 9th and the roof was done December 21st. It should have been taken care of by now. I would not recommend this company. I can?t say enough about 1st Choice. It?s too bad none of it is good. I urge anyone considering 1st choice to read the contract very carefully and ask questions. Specifically about point 13 on the back. So far, everyone I have talked to that has dealt with 1st choice has mentioned their bait and switch technique. A salesman will come to your house and give you a decent price quote. A week later they will have discovered an ?estimating error? and will ask you to consider adding cost to the contract. In my case, it was over $1600 which was over 25% of the original contract. Pointing out that you have a signed contract is no good. Point 13 voids the contract for 1st Choice leaving you with no way to pursue them honoring the contract and/or waiting for them to return your deposit. Before cancelling my contract, I spoke with a neighbor who had a new roof installed by 1st choice. We have the same floor plan and upon comparing contracts, they were virtually the same. His contract was within $300 of the original contract I signed. I brought this to the attention of 1st Choice and asked why the price difference was so much. They were willing to drop the 2nd price they quoted to a steal at only $500 more than my neighbor (still $800 more than my original contract). At this point I was forced to look elsewhere for services. I have been waiting about a month for charges to be reversed on my credit card. Steve Nobel, the owner/financial manager at the business, finally took my 10th phone call only to tell me that my deposit was none of my business and to never call his business again. Am I angry with 1st choice? Absolutely. Am I out of line to want my money returned to me for work that was canceled by the company? Not at all. If you are considering doing business with 1st Choice be very aware that the contract can and will leave you without services rendered and wondering where your deposit is. Don?t make the same mistake I did, make 1st Choice your last. Pros: NONE! Cons: Customer service, returning deposits, attitude towards customers, and everything else. more
