Worst paint job ever 2/22/2010

I have given up. After mulitple phone calls to Greg Caturano and two patronizing letters in response from the company, I have resigned myself to the fact that I got sold a bill of goods and was ripped off. I would not recommend this company to anyone. the house is peeling, bubbling, and the paint continues to fall off. So much for the lifetime guarantee!!! Pros: Looked great for the first 6 month Cons: House looks worse than it di before the work was done more

Permanent Siding What a Joke 10/8/2009

I have to agree with the other experiences. My house is peeling, cracking and I am very disappointed. Calls are rarely returned and promises have not been kept. I have sent e-mails several times and now for the kicker, the last message I got stated if they don't get any new business soon they will be going out of business. I guess it's time to call a Lawyer. Cons: Now it is worse than before I painted and it cost too much. more

Extremely bad experience 6/24/2009

Just about 1 year after application of very expensive ""Spray on Siding"", paint began to peel off , bubble, and split on various areas of the house. Finalcoat owner has many excuses and blames everything but his lack of preparation of the house for the problems. He is now citing ""wood failure"" due to the age of the cedar siding and he is now demanding more money to replace siding before he will honor the ""lifetime warranty"". Two contractors have told me it is not ""wood failure"" - it is his failure to properly prepare the wood( sanding,scraping, caulking) which was part of the original contract. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT!! Cons: ruined the outside of the house more

paint peeling, no response 9/3/2008

I called Gregory Caturano in early April and told him that the paint that he put on was peeling. He promised to take care of it. Then I got a letter dated May 13th 2008 addressed to Finalcoat customers stating that there were 25 homeowners who needed touch up work, he asked for patience due to the weather and lack of money. Said he would be able to get to it in three to four weeks and please take this letter seriously. It has been 16 weeks since the letter. Since then I have call three times and gotten no response. Paint is getting worse. I am getting a bad feeling after spending all that money. Pros: the original job looked great Cons: does not respond to calls about peeling paint more
