Fiamme Restaurant

After visiting a fantastic Piano bar in New Orleans I was on a quest to find something similar near the Conejo Valley. I was so excited to find Fiamme. As a surprise early present I took my SO.... I really wish i could find a way to get my $45 wasted bucks and my 1.5 hours back. The pianos were amplified and ported through the room though it was not needed and distorted the sound. It would have been wonderful if the performers could sing better. And while I realize it was supposed to be improv and funny I've never thought that 'Sweet Caroline' should be accompanied by one of the performers rubbing his nether regions. Then there's the food... The menu was sparse and we just ended up ordering the Fiamme CHEESEburger, The burger was ok, but not $11 dollars ok. Not that we were charged $11. One burger came back at $14 on the bill and $15.50 for the other. When questioned we were informed its because it was extra for cheese.... on their cheese burger. In the hour and a half we were there, there may have been a total of 12 patrons on a Friday night So, the music sucked, the sound sucked, the food was ok and they tried to rip us off. We shall not be returning. more

Took my boyfriend here for birthday dinner. Location is in an unassuming but high end strip mall, but it is quite large inside with a luxurious decor. They have a live band and dance floor on busy nights. The food I have to say was pretty good and very filling, but I didn't think it was worth the price. I have to say that we did order a lot for just 2 people and their prices are listed on their online website/menu so there aren't any surprises. Other than that the service was really good, our waiter aimed to please. Be aware it is more trendy, loud but ambience is nice/romantic but also accommodates large groups. Can make online reservations at Open Table, so that is convenient. Would recommend reservations on Fri/Sat nights. Full bar. Good parking. Pros: Food, service Cons: Loud, expensive more

Just went with a family of six to dinner. Two of us out of the group really like our food. The best dish at our table was the Sesame Chicken. The Osso Bucco was good but not the best. The Marsala chicken was below average. On the updside, the interior is beautifully decorated and would be a great romantic date place. The service was wonderful the night we went. At night there is live music which adds to the ambiance. Pros: Romantic, Live music, Service Cons: Not all food is good more

Recently went here for a work holiday lunch. The service was poor, but the food was alright--except for the desserts which were awful. For large parties they give you really bad service and then still expect a 22% tip. Even when you complain to the manager. Pros: decent salads & pas, clean Cons: bad desserts, poor service more

I love Italian food; I went to Italy just to get the taste of real Italian. I consider myself so lucky to find Alessio in S.California. I went to Thousand Oaks with my future wife three months ago in our first date and Im glad I picked Alessio. Nice wine collection, greatly pleasing and entertaining atmosphere with extremely pleasing to the sense of taste. Combination of professional management, who knows the Italian hospitality, hard work, top notch quality makes Alessio one of the bests. Ill give 9.9 out of 10 to Alessio. more
